Had check loan. Checks bounced. They took out one ck. We made payment on the other ck and made pay arrangement. Still took ck out over amt owed.
First off, I got into them for check loans because they originally allowed my common law husband, who was NOT an authorized signer kn my checking, to go take out loans in my name. He originally paid them and then didn't and being disabled on SS, I couldn't afford. He would pay off the bounced checks then eithet he or I would turn around and do another loan to live. The last time they bounced, he didn't cover them and I couldn't pay. Yes my fault there. But they went to collections. On Aug 3rd they took out the amt if 1 ck as the loans are always done in 2 different cks. More fees for them. Well, I called and told them we would bring in 50 that day and pay 50 a week til the other ck was pd. It was for 200.00. She agreed so Brad went and paid 50. The next day they turned around and pulled the full amt of the check out although we did not owe the full amt of the ck because we had pd on it. Well now I want my money back that we overpaid plus the same fee amount they charged me. How can they collect more than is owed?
