Q Construction

Review: I paid [redacted] of Q construction to remodel my kitchen in Feb 2014. He did not start for months. He tore down my entire kitchen in August 2014. He comes with 4 guys and does 30 minutes of work the few times he does show up. It is the end of Nov 2014 and I still have no usable kitchen. He has only put in the shell of the cabinets. I have no range, no sink, or usable cabinets. The dishwasher is not hooked up. The cabinets need to be painted. The walls are bad and need to be painted and have the backsplash put on. I have not been able to cook for months due to the fact there is no sink to wash dishes with. Most of the time he does not answer my calls or text. When he does he states he will show up and rarely does. He has come up with many excuses on why he did not go do the work. He even complained about waiting on someone to get there to open door. Once he calls to let us know he can be there someone is there within 10 minutes. Since this was an issue we hid a key for him. He lies and states the key is not in the hiding spot. I have taken a picture and told him it was there the entire time. Also having to leave a key puts my family in danger. With a key having to be left 24/7 because we do not know when he will decide to show up. A burgler/criminal could come in while we are gone or worse gain access while me or my children are home.Desired Settlement: I would like the $1,500 I paid for the services back.I also believe he should pay an additional $1,000 for the inconvience of not having a ususable kitchen and having to waste money on eating out everyday for me and my family.
