Just went to garden to buy a patio umbrella and no one came to ask if we needed help and when I asked for the prices the man was rude not polite at all .
Maybe because we're Hispanic ?
So we went somewhere else where we got got attended just like anybody else.

My wife and I were in the market for patio furniture this past fall. We visited Q-Gardens and selected a 10 piece set after several visits. It was a difficult process that took multiple visits and many attempts to understand the product we were trying to purchase.
We originally dealt with the owner (Bob). Who was not the most approachable and customer friendly person. After several attempts to work with him to make the purchase we then began working with his wife who didn't really understand the product or pricing. The pricing and availability was confusing. We couldn't make out the name of the product, warranty, pricing, availability and more importantly if we were purchasing new or floor model. Again, several trips to the store, we finally decided to purchase the set. It was communicated by the wife of the owner that it would be new and that they only had one remaining set in stock for the season. With that assurance that we would get that furniture and not the floor model when we purchased my wife purchased the furniture.
We finally took delivery and we were excited to finally take ownership. The delivery was set up and the furniture was delivered by the owners son. Who could not have been nicer. Unfortunately, the furniture in fact was the floor model that had been outside and the seat pads had been stained. My wife and I were very unhappy. We immediately called and spoke to the owner (Bob) who was rude, unprofessional and was accusing my wife of twisting the story of receiving "new" furniture. We had the owner on speaker phone, where the son and driver could hear the way and manner that he spoke to a customer. He insinuated, "that the price that we received was so low that he could not sell us new furniture and we could go somewhere else we would never get a set this low in price".
Embarrassed by his fathers remarks, the son offered to take the pads back and clean them himself and return them for our approval the following week. He also indicated that that the last remaining set that was in stock had been sold and delivered the week prior. He himself delivered it, so there would be no way we would have received a new set. This was known by the owners wife and owner.
The frame and other parts of the furniture were fine. After all said and done, if it weren't for the son we would not have taken the set. The son made the sale right and we are happy and truly love the furniture.
Bottom line: I question the ethical manner of the owner and the business practice of this establishment and more importantly the furniture companies they represent.
We are happy with the furniture, but disappointed in the manner in which we were treated.

Review: I purchased a product on Dec 14, 2014 and was told by an employee that the item could be returned for a store credit if It did not fit. However when I went back to return the item, the owner told me that I could not get a refund in the form of a store credit. The owner was very rude and told me to leave the store because I could not receive a store credit. I have the receipt which states, " no returns, store credit only within 14 days." I returned the item within the 14 days.

I charged this item on my [redacted] and currently have an open dispute for this charge. But I also wanted to file a complaint with the Revdex.com. I expect the store policy to be adhered to and I should have been given a store credit. Also the owner of this business was very rude and I will never go back to this merchant.Desired Settlement: Refund -store credit
