Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:- the company should have been able to tell during their initial assessment if there was additional work required to fix any grading issues. - had I been notified in advance of any grading issues, I would have been able to get the original landscaper who did the grading to fix the issues at no cost (since he had already been paid to do the final grading to the point it would pass inspection).- the company did NOT inform me of the amount of additional charges when they surprised me with the phone call telling me of the additional work on the day they were working.- the company did NOT inform me of the full scope of the additional work they were doing, and because they informed me of this additional work over the phone, I had no opportunity to inspect the issues myself.- the company claims I approved the additional work and the additional cost, but they did not fully and properly inform me of either. Plus, since they had already started the job, it sounded to me like I had no choice but to let them do the work.- I will not pay their full bill. The amount I have offered is fair considering the circumstances.- Furthermore, they have been extremely difficult to deal with. *** *** *** *** *** ** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** * *** *** ** *** *** *** Then they were completely non-responsive to any concerns, then they sent a lawyer after me *** *** * *** *** ***, *** *** *** * *** *** ** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** ** ** *** ** ** ***. It seems they refuse to admit or take responsibility for any fault or wrongdoing on their part, and they have never seemed to have no interest in resolving any concerns. Completely unprofessional

The initial estimate was based on the initial assessment of the property. Several changes were requested  before the work was started. With every change requested the scope of work changed. When we returned to complete the work several factors had changed.  Our contract included...

getting the final grade passed by the city of Leduc. In order to comply with the landscaping code in that municipality, we had to expand the scope of work. The customer was phoned and informed of the additional work required and approved the increased costs for labour, bobcat hours and topsoil. QCC will not agree to a further discount, and expects the full bill of $1996.00 to be paid by August 30, 2017.

We just had our land scaping done day these guys. They did an amazing job. They were very professional with everything they did. We had them do everything from our final grade to our sod,shrubs and grass. Everything looks great. We could not be happier.
