Mr. [redacted] ordered a custom Valet seat that is not a returnable item. QLifts offered to return his money on several occasions, before the Valet seat was built Mr. [redacted] reply was leave the order as is. Weeks after the seat was installed he decided he no longer wanted it and asked Qlifts to sell it for him. QLifts sold the seat, but many components of the seat would only work in his vehicle. QLifts can't sell those components unless it for the same make, model and year of his vehicle. He then wanted a new pool lift. Instead of cutting his pool deck to replace the sleeve of his old lift, QLifts had a custom sleeve made to fit his existing sleeve. He got impatient once agin. QLifts offered to cancel the order and he again said leave it as is. The day before the lift and sleeve was to be shipped, Mr. [redacted] decided he wanted to cancel the order. QLifts requires that all special order and custom equipment to be prepaid as the equipment in most cases only fits the designed application and would have to be remanufactured to fit another. After the selling of Mr. Smiths Valet seat and the cost of canceling his pool lift order, QLifts refunded the money that was left on his account. QLifts terms and conditions state this very clearly.QLiftsReturns Policy Any purchase made (either by phone or internet) signifies acceptance of these terms by purchaser. If for any reason you are not satisfied with any of our products*, simply return them to us in their original condition and packaging within 10 days and we will refund the full price of the hardware, less any applicable shipping & handling charges. Restocking or Order Cancellation Fees may apply. Pricing and Availability subject to change without notice. Some additional restrictions may apply. *An exception is made for made to order and sanitary items. Made to order includes but is not limited to elevators, platform lifts, dumbwaiters, custom stair lifts, Valet seats and mattresses. These items are not returnable. Also, any order for products in these categories, that is cancelled after 24 hours of it being placed, will be subject to the 45% restocking fee. This is because at that point, your custom order will already be in production. For sanitary reasons mattresses, slings, walk-in tubs, bath lifts, bath seats and other hygiene items are Non-Returnable after removal from carton unless damaged in shipping.
