QTel is a completely sketchy company. They offer an attractive bogus percentage off our existing phone lines saying they are authorized [redacted] wholesalers. They want to rush you into closing the deal over the phone. When I requested offer to be sent to me by email, the phone sales guy said "We don't work like that." When I expressed that I was uncomfortable signing up with QTel over the phone, the guy started to get flustered saying it only takes a few minutes to sign up with the FCC agent I'll be transferred to. When I said I'm not doing this over the phone and that I will verify with [redacted] their status as "authorized wholesaler", he replied that this offer will no longer be made available to me in an annoyed tone saying "enjoy your existing high phone bill" and hung up on me. These pressure and bullying tactics are trademarks of a shady organization that preys on the weak-willed. Politely and firmly reject calls from QTel Solutions.

I was NOT contacted by Qtel regarding my complaint. I WAS contacted by them again attempting to run the same scam, trying to tell me I had a Q-tel account I needed to pay off. Considering they can't even keep straight businesses they've already tried to scam, I doubt they have even looked at my compliant. They did not mention my complaint to the Revdex.com in any capacity.
Also Q-Tel sent me a bill, which I attached above. I returned bill to sender. Again, I HAVE NO ACCOUNT WITH Q-TEL, NOW OR EVER. They are a bullying, aggressive, fraudulent business.

Q-Tel called our office and slammed us with their lying offer to save money over our Verizon bill. They failed to mention the hefty disconnect fee from Verizon that this would occur. We called Verizon and ensured that our service was uninterrrupted; however, this hasn't prevented Q-Tel from sending a bill for $108.22 for services that were never provided. When I called to speak to a service rep, they were rude and in no way helpful. As a business, they suck heavily and their employees have to know how compromised their employer is.

Review: SALESPERSON WAS ASKED VERY SPECIFIC QUESTIONS REGARDING SERVICE THEY WERE TO PROVIDE AND A PRICE QUOTE WAS GIVEN AND AGREED TO

IN ORDER TO TRANSFER OUR PHONE ACCOUNT FROM [redacted] TO QTEL. ALL THE PROMISED ITEMS WERE NOTED IN WRITING BY US SO THERE IS NO AMBIGUITY

IN WHAT WAS PROMISED (SERVICE AND PRICE)

UPON RECEIPT OF THE 1ST BILL AND INQUIRY WITH QTEL REPRESENTATIVE, WE WERE ADVISED THAT THE COST WOULD BE SUBSTANTIALLY HIGHER THAT THAT QUOTED BY THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE ON THE PHONE, BY APPROXIMATELY 23%.

WE FEEL THIS IS HIGHLY MISLEADING AND NOT ACCEPTABLE PRACTICE TO ALLOW BUSINESSES TO PLAN AND CONTROL THEIR EXPENSESDesired Settlement: THE CHARGES FOR THE PHONE +INTERNET SERVICE MUST BE AS STATED BY THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE WHEN SELLING THE SERVICE.

Review: About a year ago, QTel called my business saying they were affiliated with Verizon and would switch our business phone line over to their billing to save us money every month. Since then, I have had several problems with our phone line and therefore our internet, as Verizon DSL can't operate without a properly working phone line. For the second time, they are unable to provide service and have said we won't have service for at least another week (its already been 5 days). Last year we didn't have phone or internet for 3 weeks with no solution on their end and terrible customer service. I believe this company is a scam.

As this is my business phone/internet, I am unable to receive phone calls, take credit card payments or use the internet to check in clients for my business.Desired Settlement: I need our phone and internet to be repaired as soon as possible. I believe that QTel is a scam - they have sub par phone service that is often spotty as well as terrible customer service. Its absurd that in 2016, they are unable to offer phone service that is consistent and that their repair time is often at least a week if not more with no solution in the meantime. Their business practice is shady and they are dishonest when they call to persuade you to switch your phone line over.

Review: Company called and hoodwinked an unauthorized employee to switch services to their company. Employee not aware of what they were agreeing to. They pry on individuals who are not knowledgeable of their practices.Desired Settlement: Unethical companies like this should not be allowed to continue doing business. I do not want this company contacting any of our entities.

This company is totally unreliable. I have my business line with them and they are closed on the weekends and close at 6pm on weekdays. What kind of customer service is that. Verizon is there 24/7 for their customers . And for repairs it's Verizon that comes to check for problems. And only on outside lines. They don't check inside lines or jacks an I was told if I knew someone that can check for trouble on the inside. What company does that? My line has not worked since Friday night and I left a message and no one got back to me. When I called back on Monday they never gave me a time frame when someone would be there and just said "a repair ticket has already been issued." And that was it. They didn't ask for a call back number or what was wrong with the line ( no dial tone, can't answer calls, etc). Absolutely horrible, horrible company and service.

Review: I became aware that my business line was non functional after mailing a check to pay the full amount of $191.00 on 4/**/15. According to Customer support my phone line was disconnected on 4/**/15. In the past your company would call me to tell me the shut off date. This did not happen in this instance.

Further the other checks I sent out, 6 in all, on the same day, were all received by their respective people by 4/**/15.

When I called on 4/**/15 I was informed that QTel had still 'not received' my payment, and that it would cost me $336 ($190 past due, $140 reconnection fee) to turn my phone back on and it would take a couple of hours for this to happen.

On Friday, because I had to wait for my own checks to clear from my business so I could make the $336 payment, I was told it would take another 5 days to turn on my phone.

I was assurred the phone would be active by Wednesday, 5/*/15. I was also told that I would be required to sign a 1 year contract with Qtel in order to restore my phone service. Because I want to port the number to a cell phone because I am moving! Supposedly these documents were faxed to me, however I never received them. And when I called back was told by a different person this wasnt required?

On Wednesday, my phone was not turned back on. I was again told it will take yet another 24hours for the phone number to 'propagate' which I find absurd, given the phone has been shut off in the past, and was turned back on with in minutes.

This morning, my phone number still doesn't work. This has been absolutely devestating to my business and is beginning to threaten my livelyhood.

A business phone is an intragal part of any small business, and when it returns a 'Line has been disconnected' people generally figure that business is no longer in business.

Given that fact it is now my position that Qtel is purposely trying to put me out of business. Spring time is my busiest time of year, it is when I set up the next 8 months for work. Not having a working telephone number that has been associated with my business for the past 60 years, for weeks is unacceptable. 95% of all my business comes from that phone number and the fact that Qtel has repeatedly lied to me, and purposely delayed the reactivation of my phone line as a way to 'punish' me is unacceptable.Desired Settlement: Fix the phone line. It has been disconnected for 11 days. If I was a pizza shop, I would have been out of business by now.

Customer was sent an invoice date 4-*-15 Due Date 5-*-15 with note "YOUR

ACCOUNT IS PAST DUE. PLEASE MAKE A PAYMENT IMMEDIATELY TO AVOID INTERRUPTION OF

SERVICE"

Customer was called and left a voicemail on 4-**-15 to let them know the

account was up for interruption the next day and to collect a payment.

Customers service was suspended on 4-**-15. CUstomers line was disconnected on

4-**-**.

Customer then called us on April [redacted] to make a payment on the account, in

order for his lines to be re-instated, so that he could switch them to a cell

phone provider. We let him know our policy, which is a 1 year contract, or to

pay for the Re-instate fee. 5-*-15 Customer paid, including Re-instate fee.

Line was Re-instated 3 business days after the payment, as the customer was

informed, due to 5-1 being on a friday, re-instate due dated for 5-6. on 5-6

his line WAS re-instated as an RCF line, due to him porting his line out, and

the order needed to COMPLETE before the port could be completed.

If customer would have paid him bill more then once or twice a year, he would

not have been put in this situation.

Review: Qtel salesperson claims to be a [redacted] wholesaler for telecommunication. They took my business phone number and personal information and then hijacked my business phone number. They claim to be cheaper than [redacted] and said it will cancel my [redacted] account. They did not cancel my [redacted] account and thereupon I am receiving a bill from [redacted] and also a bill from Qtel. I have continued to pay [redacted] bills and Qtel is still requesting me for payment.

They have continued to harass me for payment and have sent me a final notice or thereupon they will cut off my phone service which will detrimentaly affect my livelihood. The bill statement is in the a,out of $459.65 which is seriously highway robbery for a service they have not provided me since I am still receiving [redacted] telecommunications.

I am asking you for assistance as their egregious business practice is causing me severe hardship and stress. Please assist me in this matterDesired Settlement: Stop contacting me, discharge any invoice they claim is due and stop harassing me with threats of final notice of disconnection and other bully type actions

Review: Customer service rep called and started to talk about my "qtel" phone bill. I told him we have Verizon, and I have never heard of Qtel or paid a bill from them, and we do not want to switch. Kept insisting that I was part of qtel and tried to pressure me into signing up for some "bill deductions". Told him I was happy with Verizon and hung up, after which the customer service rep called me back several times, INSISTING I had q-tel and continuing to call back even when I made it clear I did not want to speak with him and hung up repeatedly. Only stopped after fourth hangup, and even then said he would "call back later". Thankfully I am aware of this scam, but for someone who is not the rude and intimidating nature of the salespeople as well as their sheer persistence could bowl over less assertive people and end up fleecing them for a lot of money.Desired Settlement: Want company to never contact me again, should not be able to make fraudulent claims, like telling you that you are a customer of theirs when you are not.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Qtel Solutions regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
