To whom it may concern;Our company was requested to repair and service this customer's mower and we scheduled a time to do so. He was given a basic estimate but the repairs exceeded the pricing so he paid for the initial repairs and service and we returned leaving the mower deck incomplete because...

we had to order additional parts. He was to pay for those additional parts and service once they were completed. Because his tractor was an older off brand for our dealership our suppliers do not stock the parts and we had to wait a bit to get them in. When we did receive them we called the customer to set up a time to return and finish the work. He yelled at my staff and told them he already went somewhere else to get the workcompleted because they had those parts in stock. We did not charge him for those parts so we put them back in inventory and considered it finished.We will not be refunding any or his purchase because the work that he paid for was completed and the reason his mower was left in the condition it was in at his home was because we had every intention to return and repair it. He was informed of this fact as well and made the decision to go elsewhere for the remainder of the repair. Furthermore our pricing on what was completed is consistent with all our service work and was not raised or out of line with our services.Thank you for your time and willingness to reach out and allow us to explain our side of the situation.

I am rejecting this response because:There was never an advanced notice of what the charge for service would be.  I  was shocked at the price when the individual knocked at the door and the repairs were not complete.  I repeatedly called the business and no one returned calls.  It was only after 2 weeks that I secured another business to complete the work that this business started after incurring additional lawn care expense.
