Due to my son switching insurance this was the only doctor in the area that could take him. I had to first go in and schedule a consultation before they would see him. We went to that, basically for the pediatrician to tell me she follows the same guidelines as other pediatricians and then we scheduled another appointment from there to get his 18 month shots that he was behind on (only reason I went here). Day of his appointment my car stalled and would not start, it was well before my appointment time and I tried calling over and over to reschedule or even come in later. I got no answer and couldn't leave a VM. When I called to reschedule and explain what had happened the lady couldn't even find our appointment on the books and was completely confused of who we were and put me on hold. She got back on and since I no-showed the first appointment they couldn't help me. I calmly told her I had car troubles and tried calling over and over and couldn't leave a VM. She just argued that their VM isn't like that and there were three people there, that one of them would have answered. I started crying and told her they were my only chance of getting my son his shots, she didn't care. I said ma'am this just isn't fair... not understanding. She said "it isn't fair we held a spot for you"... after just saying she couldn't even find my appointment in the books. It was unbelievable to me the way she talked to a customer, especially one just trying to seek help for their child, especially during a pandemic? She is clearly in the wrong line of work due to her lack of care and professionalism. I asked if there was someone else I could speak to and she said no.

Ms. W called on 7/13/20 to schedule an appointment for her son as a new patient. We advised her at that time our office policy is to do a questionnaire over the phone for all new patients. Once Dr Q reviewed it, we would then call her to schedule a consult appointment to go over policies and procedures of our office. If after the consult she decided she wanted to get established at this office then we would have her fill out a medical records request from her son's previous physician. After receiving his medical records, we would then set up an appointment for him to be seen. She voiced her understanding and came into the office on 7/17/20 for a new patient consult visit. We called Ms W on 7/21/20 to advise her that we did receive the records for her child and scheduled a new patient appointment for 7/30/20. During the consultation appointment the two main points that Dr Q talks about is vaccinations and our no-show policy. Ms W was advised at the consult appointment that if she missed appointments, we would not be able to continue patient care for her child. The day of the appointment they did not show up. Our office policy is if you no-show on your first visit we are not able to reschedule the appointment. Ms William's called on 8/10/20 (11 days AFTER the missed appointment) to reschedule the appt. The reason the appointment could not be found was because we had a new girl in the office who had not yet been taught how to look up a past appt for a new patient as of yet. We advised Ms W that because they were a no show on their first visit, we were not able to reschedule the appointment. After I advised her of the office policy, she became very angry and began yelling. She stated that she "had car trouble" and "tried to call several times, nobody answered and the voicemail wouldn't allow her to leave a message". I advised her that we do not have a voicemail and that maybe she dialed the number incorrectly. She became even more upset and was screaming "you don't know understand how bad I need this appointment" then in an even louder tone she screamed "you know what, F you" and hung up the phone. Ms W was too upset and wouldn't allow me to speak before hanging up the phone. Ms W did not try to contact our office and advise us of her car trouble the day of her appointment. After our call with Ms W I did check the caller ID log and we had no missed calls and no calls coming from the number we have listed for Ms W. I do not recall Ms W asking if there is somebody in the office that she could speak with. I would have advised her that Dr Q was not in the office but I would have her return her call when she arrived.

This is all...... so twisted. I don't even have the energy to explain myself further. This office is awful, their other reviews of losing patients records, being discriminating, etc prove I'm not the "only one". The lies coming from these employees is disgusting and I wouldn't want any of these hateful people around my children. Yeah, I totally lied about my car troubles and calling the office.. I have my phone records to prove all of my calls and I'll gladly be taking a trip into the office soon.
