I am rejecting this response because:20 years of operation does not negate the fact that I had a negative experience, and who's to tell that other customers have left and done nothing about it?  
It is illogical, insulting...

and offensive for the business to claim that they offered to dry clean the clothes for free - They did not. If there was such an offer, I would have accepted it without question.My goal was to get my shirts clean. When they clearly asked me to pay for the dry cleaning, I then asked for a refund which they refused.
What is even more disturbing is the dishonesty. Not only did they ask for payment for dry cleaning, they actually had a nonchalant attitude, which was surprising. Most business I have had contact with are very concerned when a customer raises an issue.  They also claim I left before they could offer me any other option. That is not true. When I decided to pick up and pay for the remaining clothes, they wouldn't take my payment by [redacted] because it was less than 10 dollars and I had to pay by cash. I did not have cash so I went and ran a few errands and withdrew some money. When I got back about 30-45 minutes later, ample time for them to come up with another solution, all they did was take the payment. I told them I was going to complain as I left, they were disinterested and did not even respond. It's absurd that the business agrees that they refused to offer a refund but wanted to dry clean (which is more expensive) for free. Makes no sense.

Review: I took shirts to be laundered and a jacket. I recently started using this dry cleaners because they are organic. They have laundered shirts for me before with no issue. I picked up the shirts and on inspecting them at home discovered that they were still dirty and my jacket had stains. I returned the shirts to the store and asked them to re-launder them. They refused and told me I had to pay to dry clean them. They said that the dirt on the shirt collars cannot come out with regular laundry to which I responded that we have taken shirts to cleaners for many years and have never had an issue. They refused to re- launder the shirts or issue a refund.The younger man who was there even said that maybe the other dry cleaners have a special soap. They had nothing to say about the jacket which had obviously not been cleaned and took it back.I told them that they had lost a customer and paid for other items that I had dropped off the day I picked up the shirts. To my surprise, the shirt that they handed to me was also dirty. I brought it to their attention and they said there's nothing they could do. I had no choice and paid for the items and left. They have no customer service skills and were not at all bothered that I was not pleased with their sub standard servicesDesired Settlement: I need a refund since they refused to take the shirts and re-launder them.
