Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***Please add your rejection comments belowTo whom it may concernI would like to state that the view of the way in which I handled my interaction with *** is not correct Also that Mr *** offered for me to go into the back room is incorrect as wellMr *** reaction to the whole issue is what my problem is He did not care at all that my pole disappeared and it was actually a friendlier younger employee that offered for me to look into the stockroom I asked *** if we could contact the reel repairman to see if he made a mistake and never returned the pole after repair which *** said noI asked if maybe because the pole was brand new maybe it was put in stock by accident which he then said didn't happenHis lack of effort into looking into the matter is the most disappointing thing I have done business with Quaker lane for years and have never had a problem until nowAs the business stated even one of my friends is a good customer and that is why I am so disappointed with themI understand that mistakes happen but usually when they do both parties try to resolve the issue Quaker lanes attitude and reaction speaks for itself

Good Afternoon,             This e-mail is in response to a letter I received on 8/10/16 from the Revdex.com. Quaker Lane Bait & Tackle has been in business for 44 years and have Never had a complaint. Mr. [redacted] dropped off his reel for service on...

6/24/16 not a rod and reel Tag # 0125 yellow tag (receipt) attached above  (he might be mistaken on leaving his rod) . When Quaker Lane services a reel we never let the customer leave there rod at Quaker Lane. This has been a policy at Quaker lane for many, many years. The reel was serviced and we called Mr. [redacted] on 7/22/16 at 4pm and left him a voice message that his reel was ready for pickup.             Mr. [redacted] called back after we left him a message and asked about his (supposed) rod that he had left with Quaker Lane. On Quaker Lane receipt #0125 dated 6/24/16 it states he left us a [redacted] reel for service. Mr. [redacted] came in and said he wanted to pick up his rod that he dropped off and [redacted] said you did not drop off a rod you dropped off a reel, then Mr. [redacted] states well then it must have been a rod and reel that he dropped off. Then Mr. [redacted] turned rude and obnoxious and started swearing and saying what are you calling me a [redacted] liar. Mr. [redacted] was very professional and said we do not have your rod and you can look in the part of the store where all rod and reel repairs are located in the back room. There was no rod that was his. Mr. [redacted] was still rude and obnoxious and swearing, where is my $110.00 rod. So Mr. [redacted] said here is your reel and said Mr. [redacted] didn’t have to pay the $25.00 fee for servicing the reel. (which Mr. [redacted] did not have to do) Mr. [redacted] states he showed a receipt of purchase of his rod and reel from another company to manger [redacted]. This never took place. Mr. [redacted] called someone and supposedly repeated what the receipt of purchase was. (This would have no basis on the service of his reel) or rod that he did not leave at Quaker Lane. A friend of Mr. [redacted], another gentleman named [redacted] is a good customer and asked me to look into the matter and get to the bottom of this. So I asked a few questions on who was working when Mr. [redacted] dropped off his reel , he said an older guy with curly hair. So after looking into this matter it states on the receipt it was [redacted]. [redacted] no longer is with us, so I called [redacted] and left him a message to call me. [redacted] calls back 15 minutes later and I ask him if he remembers Mr. [redacted] dropping off his reel and if there was a rod with it. [redacted] states he did not, and that Quaker Lane policy is we never take rods in for a reel repair, we make the customer take the reel off the rod and just keep the reel for repair. So I called [redacted] back within 1 hour and said I spoke with [redacted] and he was adamant that no rod was left at Quaker Lane..Quaker Lane Bait & Tackle is a very friendly service business with no complaints in 44 years. Look at the receipt #0125 (attached) only a reel was dropped off at Quaker Lane as stated on receipt 0125 If you should require any additional info please feel free to contact me directly. Regards [redacted]Quaker Lane Bait & Tackle[redacted] RI [redacted]
