I am currently not working but in the past 5 months I have made all attempts at jobs weather using adds in the paper's walk-ins, online job searches and the qti group I am talking about is hindering me from gaining meaningful employment with various companies I have inquired for a postion numerous times with agency in the last 5 months bye calling weekly and they tell me there is nothing aviable due to my work history unlike most americans I would like to tell you to refrain from using the Q T I Staffing agency thank you

I would NOT recommend QTI and do NOT waste your time with them. I've never had a good experience with them and I've given them atleast 3 opportunities over the past 4 years. The first time I went in, they had me sit at a computer and take assessments for 2 hours. They interviewed me once after taking the test and nothing ever came of it. No one called me to tell me about an opportunity. When I call them, they either tell me it's been filled even though its' still posted on their website or they tell me I need to fill out an online application for each job that I'm interested in because it's not their policy to call people. I've had experiences with other temp agencies ([redacted]) and they have always called me when it's an opportunity that I'd be interested in.
This year I'm graduating after two summer classes are completed. I've been unemployed since 4/1 but started applying to jobs since 4/28. I applied for an accounting assistant position thru QTI, a week went by and no one called me. So, I called them and talked to the person in-charge for accounting positions, she told me that position has been filled. I asked her if they would call me if any other positions would become available. She responded no, you will have to apply for any additional positions you're interested in.
My roommate told me that his work is hiring people and going through QTI. I told him I'm done with QTI, and tired of wasting my time on them. You would think that if they want to make any money, they'd try to place applicants with a job. Perhaps, the longer they drag the process out, they are making money. I know for a fact if a staffing agency pays $15/hour to the applicant, they are making a commission off us for the duration that we are working for the staffing agency for 432 hours (3 1/2 months) or so.
I would recommend NOT to go thru QTI or any staffing agency if at all possible. Try to get a job straight thru the employer. I've had 2 phone interviews per week, over the last 2 weeks since I've applied for jobs. Met with [redacted] and they still haven't called me and it's been 3 weeks. I'm not impressed with
