Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below What they say and what they DO are actually different things I may respond to accept after they do something substantive to solve my complaint Regards, [redacted] ***

Re: above complaint, The dealer, in the dispute, had my car for over weeks, ostensibly to make the disputed repairs They have failed to do so They appear to have repainted the front bumper and portion of quarter panels, but the body panels still do NOT match up, and the headlights still do NOT align properly with the road, and appear to be aimed at the same exact location as before, i.e., they seem to have done nothing but paint the front end.I am unhappy with their pacifying techniques They did make me sign a statement saying that I was happy with the repairs before I could drive the car off the lot, and during full daylight, where I could NOT ascertain that the headlights were aligned properly, wherein, they stated implicitly that they went to great pains to correct the deficiencies They did NOT!

I paid for a Fusion outright about five weeks ago and have not yet received my paperwork has agreed upon by the companyApparently the company has closed downI am requesting the company agree to fulfill their legal obligation and send me the paper work or refund me my filing fee and all necessary paperwork accordinglyI have sent them an e-mail requesting them do so*.*

Quality Auto Group sold M*** *** a Acura TL on November 1st, 2014. He test drove the vehicle and was satisfied with
both price and condition. He then brought his father-in-law as an expert inspectorThey test drove and inspected the vehicle and expressed satisfaction as for the condition of the vehicle and proceeded with the financing and took deliveryA week or so later *** informed us that the “Airbag” indicator lit up on his dashboardWe had him bring the vehicle back so we could inspect itWe provided M*** with a loaner car for the time required to take care of the issueWe sent his vehicle to Kearny Mesa Acura, an authorized Acura specialist to have the issue resolvedThey stated that the seat belts needed replacing as the original belt buckles were the cause for the warning light on the dashboard. They in fact replaced those parts as they are under lifetime warranty from the manufacturerWeeks passed before M*** contacted us again complaining that he believed that his “catalytic converter” was not operating as it should and needed replacingWe showed him that the car, just like any other car we sell, was fully inspected, serviced, and passed smog inspection administered by an independent, certified station prior to his taking possession of said vehicle and that he would be responsible for any repair given the period of time he had had the car and the mileage he had driven and the quality of gasoline he had used during this time. Dissatisfied with our answer, M*** filed a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR)A BAR representative came to investigate the complaint and once presented with our diligence in both the documents that M*** had read and signed and the proof that the vehicle had been inspected and “smogged” with results well within California’s requirements the BAR representative dismissed the complaint and closed the case.

[Dear Quality Auto Group,
Thank you for replying and for putting in writing in your words, "WE CONTACT MOSSY FORD AND WARRANTY COMPANY DID ALSO AND MOSSY FORD SAID NO TRANSMISSION PROBLEM", because I have the page document here from Mossy Ford, pictures taken from the Mossy ford mechanic (pictures of the modified transmission) and a bag full of the parts they had to remove from the transmission as evidence Mossy Ford isn't about to lose their reputation in making this up or losing there affiliation with the vehicle manufacturer Mossy Ford's documentation states that there is something wrong with the transmission I have given you the opportunity to rectify this situation, but you will not I have already filed the proper documentation to small claims court, along with the aforementioned evidence supporting my claim At this point, a the law will decide who is truly at fault Thank you for time

The mechanic did not say that there is nothing wrong with the transmission.  I have all the details and paperwork from the mechanic.  Prior to my purchase, the previous car owner modified the transmission, which was making the automatic transmission skip gears to make the car go faster.  It was going from 1, 2, to 4th.  This modified transmission is ruining the transmission and also the car wasn't working properly, as gears should go from 1,2,3, to 4.  I was given a warranty that will cover the cost of the transmission, but the warranty will not touch this because it had been previously modified, which I was not made aware of.  Since the car wasn't driving correctly (and I was never allowed to drive it on the highway before purchase because of the 5 mile from the dealer rule)  I took the car in to have the transmission fixed.  The dealer found other problems and stated in the paperwork, however, the warranty would not correct those problems unless I pay for the transmission to be put back to factory settings (meaning fix the modified transmission that is ruining the car).  The owner Mike was supposed to call me back, but did not.  Instead he called the mechanic and the mechanic had to call me to tell me that he said he will not pay for it.  The dealer did help me get the exhaust pipes fixed, but failed to give me receipts when I asked for them.  He withheld them and overcharged me for them.  I know this because I went and asked the mechanic how much each part was.  I still don't have any receipts.  I would like the amount I had to pay for the transmission to be fixed (and I can get documentation that there is something wrong with it) or I will take the dealer to small claims court.  The warranty is legal, however, I was given a warranty that is invalid, since the dealer gave me a car that has been modified and won't correct their mistakes.  I have contacted the warranty, whose name is Dean, and he has stated that this is the dealers error and they should fix it.  Thank you for your time.
