$10,+ a $Doc fee for a total of $10,There was also a trade in. Their trade in was a *** *** which needed body work, a windshield and a detail. When we sell vehicles at Quality Auto I instruct all of our salesmen to let each and every customer know that each vehicle is sold, "As Is"We do not have the ability to predict mechanical failures nor any other future issues with a vehicleWe also trade for vehicles as isWe do not call back after the fact and ask consumers to fix the body damage or other mechanical issues that may manifest after the purchase. We offer each and every customer an aftermarket vehicle service contract to ensure that their investment is protected. Our mechanic bills range anywhere from $8,000-$20,000+++ a month trying to ensure that our customers get a quality car at a quality priceWe try very hard to ensure we sell nice vehicles but unfortunately not one of us is perfect and all issues cannot be caught. We regret that the ***'s have had issues with the vehicleThey declined the service contract and that put them at risk to being responsible for any future repairs on the vehicle, whether they had to pay cash for the contract or refused to finance it in the loan, they still refused. We did offer to trade them out of the vehicle and terms did not seem to be favorable to them. We will not be willing purchase the vehicle back for what they have paid for it. I strongly urge the customers and all customers to take advantage of the vehicle service contract in the future to ensure that their liability is limited in the future. The initial cost may not be appealing to the consumer but in the end it is almost always worth the extra expense. I don't like paying for health insurance, but I am very glad when I get sick and I have it. Vehicles are sold As Is for just this reasonService Contracts are also sold for this reason.
