No, I am not satisfied with the Company's response, because *** of Quality Auto /repairs did not explain that there would be more needed to repair my car until they got the timing belt kit onHe told me two or three times that the timing belt kit would BE THE FIX!!!

The lady did indeed bring her car in with a oil leakThe leak was
taken care ofWe have no way of knowing how long the car was driven with a
major oil leak before it came to our shop the first time
"">
The lady came back to our shop on August 2ndThe car was
fixed June 26th She was complaining of a loud knocking noise from her
carShe was told that it would be Tuesday August 5th before a rack would be
open to work on / diagnose her car issueThe car sat from Friday August 2nd to
Monday August 4th in the same spot No one touched or moved her car.
There was not one drop of a oil leak under her car.( So no leak)
The lady called times to the shop..all times she
was told that I was not at the shop. I was not at the shopI was out of
town all timesKeep in MInd this is on a Monday...she was told that the car
would not be touched till Tuesday
The lady comes to the shop yelling and screaming she wants
her car.She walks through the shop yelling at everyone and screaming and
crying .She was told that the car was not leaking. This only makes
her scream louder. She starts screaming she wants her car fixed for
free, and screaming she is going to contact her lawyer
I told her to go ahead and contact a lawyer,that I didn't
care
We fixed her leakThat's what she paid for ,and that's
what we didWe have no way of knowing how many weeks/months/years her car was
leaking before she brought her car here
The damage to her motor was already done before she brought
the car here on June 26th.
So what it all boils down to is the Customer drove
her car to long with a oil leak she was aware of and damaged her motor .
Then after the leak was repaired ,she had blown her motor from the previous
damage
If the Customer had ceased her
screaming/crying...and listened...she may have understood this
I am not responsible for Damage done to a
car by its owner.

The said vehicle was towed to our shop from another repair facility with a complaint of a loud noise and then died and would not restart. Spoke to customer on the phone with a diagnosis of a broken timing belt. Did discuss with customer that the timing belt kit and labor would cost approximately $625.00 and that this engine was and interference engine and that it was a possibility that the valves and pistons could hit. Also told customer that in our 20 years of working on this type of engine we had not seen one of these engines hit but that it was always a possibility. After a verbal agreement to go ahead with repairs mechanic replaced the timing belt, water pump, tension pulley. (There is no way to know by visually looking at the engine to know for sure if the valves have hit until the timing belt is replaced.) After said repairs car was started and missing on 3 of the 6 cylinders. At this point customer was called about the issue. After speaking with the customer and explaining a second time the problem and giving an estimate to remove the head from the car to have valves repaired the customer then said they had no money to do the other said repairs and would come pick vehicle up. I explained that the parts were on vehicle and their was a labor and parts bill against the car but that I would discount because of the problem they had with vehicle. I then discounted repairs from the initial $625 estimate to $472.55 this was cost on parts & $50/hr on labor. At this point felt that we had already discounted the repairs. Car will start and run at this time the other problem was not from our repairs but was caused when the timing belt broke on vehicle while driving. Car had approximately 250,000 miles with original timing belt. This is a wear item and is supposed to be replaced every 100-120,000 miles according to owners manual.
