In the case of *** *** ***, I *** ***, was in the process of selling him a Chevrolet Impala LT, It needed a transmission replacement to fix car so he could finish paying for car and drive off in itI told him I would create a ticket for warranty purposes with Quality Brothers and I would pay them for workHe agreed to this and therefore a work ticket was created in their name with me as responsible partyAs work progressed *** backed out of the car deal citing work taking too long and he was going to buy something else, too which I said no problem*** at this point came into shop and made a big scene in front of multiple customers and was trying to provoke a fight (police had to be called)I informed *** that the purchase transaction was between *** *** and *** *** ***, not Quality Brothers at allHe put down a deposit with me with the understanding that it was non refundable because it was for me to purchase parts on car he agreed to buyI agreed to give Mr** *** his money back at the time I was able to sale the vehicle since he no longer wanted it*** has had his wife and daughter hit social media in every way possible to try and hurt Quality Brothers Automotive, and has been explained numerous times the vehicle purchase has nothing to do with Quality Brothers at all besides the fact that they have been commissioned to install the transmissionAs you see the money paid is on hand written receipts not on Quality Brother paperworkSince Mr** *** cancelled the transaction workorder has been cancelled from his name and is set for new buyer to have warranties *** ***

We repaired ***'s accord as she statedWe apologized for the issue. We found the axle (which we suggested replacing) had brokenWe didn't accept fault for the issue but did repair it at no additional cost to herWE repaired it to the satisfaction of her mother
and boyfriend who picked up the car, at which time boyfriend showed me pictures of the car when it happenedHe showed me pictures of the car in street prior to being towed with no damage to fenderHe then showed me a few more pictures of car after towed and clearly can see damage at that pointBoyfriend and I compared pictures as he had informed me she wanted us to fix itI showed him the car in the two different positions which he and I both agreed where clearly no damage before tow and damage after towShe has been informed that if she still has noise that we are here from 8:a.mto 6:p.m. Monday through Friday to check out her noise and will definitely take care of it if it is part of the original issueWe strive hard to take care of every customer in every situationUnfortunately there are a few out there wanting something for nothingNo hard feelings towards her, we have helped her mom out for many years and hate that this happened however, we did not have the vehicle towed for her, therefore we are not responsible for the tow truck drivers damageWe also suggested the correct repair in the first place which she declined due to monetary reasons.Thanks for your time,

I am rejecting this response because: The above is not true. We have not agreed to their terms,  [redacted] is a co owner of quality brothers who received the additional 1200.00 after the first deposit of 800.00 received by [redacted] at quality brothers automotive. They still have not returned our $2000.

In regards to the complaint by [redacted], we worked on his car for a power steering issue and resolved it within a few weeks in October of 2016. Mr. [redacted] was back in his car and no issues, complaints or phone calls, until he informed me he wrecked his car (this was four months after power...

steering work was completed) and had received a few estimates from several body shops for way more than he could afford since it was a non-claimed incident due to mr. [redacted] being a non-licensed driver and unable to claim it. We gave mr. [redacted] a quote of around $1250 to fix damage to car and let him know we were having to scour salvage yards to procur the pieces (which requires time and he said he understood this to save money) for his repair. He agreed to this and we fixed damage to car for about 25% off what the body shops wanted. While car was in our possession for about a week mr.eldred called me to inform me since the wreck the p/s was making noise. I told him we would look into it. we at this point knowing the p/s was good for five months and started having issues after a wreck were easily able to deduce that one caused the other. Trying to help him out we looked into it and replaced his steering gear and pump under warranty which usually with outside damage warranty is null and void. Now that mr. [redacted] lives in south Austin he has decided that he wants his money back even with the knowledge that his warranty is still good for 6 more months here at the shop. his moving 30+ miles away doesn't give him the right to complain especially when the wreck  caused the damage and we are doing our best to facilitate and help him out. Part of the problem is mr. [redacted] can't get a rental car in his current unlicensed world. We offered him a loaner vehicle at one point and that is when he informed me of the license situation. I have talked to brett and he knows he can drop his car of and we will gladly look into his situation. He has refuted the charges and is writing letters on every social media to try and "BULLY" us into giving him money back. Its simple work paid for was performed, issues came after wreck, and we are still here to help him, although an apology is deamed necessary at this point to continue.   Thanks, [redacted] Owner of Quality Brothers Automotive
