Sorry for the delay, we were on vacationI would offer a settlement in the amount proposed on one condition that you retract this complaint completelyThis complaint is not a result in faulty workWe also made multiple trips to the home to ensure the shingles were repaired properlyUnfortunately for a roofer, if the spot is on a ceiling it's automatically our faultI'm sorry the siding wasn't noted on our initial inspection The people involved no longer are employed by Quality ConstructionI sincerely appreciate you both and thank you for being reasonable in coming to an agreementGod Bless, [redacted]

At this time, we have never seen an estimate for repairs that Quality Construction believes needs to be done We would have been willing to pay for those repairs if [redacted] would've called us and explained the situation and given us an estimate Instead, he chose to ignore of phone callsWe have already hired a contractor to fix the roof and repair the interior wall of our home That work has been estimated at $ We would like reparation in the amount of $which is half of that amount

We will contact the Revdex.com to resolve the complaint when we receive settlement of $

Our representative [redacted] did meet with the family and have the roof and the interior repairedA cricket was added behind the chimney to move water away from the back of the large chimneyThe repair cost was billed at a presumed costThe cost of the roof and interior repair far exceeded our estimate We did not charge more to this familyUpon noticing the leak appeared again in the same area, they assumed our work was faultyShe demanded that our rep handle the situation and he made a visit and called the men who repaired the area for them to returnUpon their second visit, they notified [redacted] that the roof was perfect but the boards behind the chimney had rotThis was not noticeable from the front since it was brick on sides [redacted] texted her and kept records of their communicationShe called me and was upset that he texted her instead of callingThis is a preferred method of communication for most customers who work during the dayShe was upset and informed me that her husband would be home at a specific time and date and demanded that I, the owner of the company, show up to said appointmentI didI was on time and had a wonderful visit with her husband *** I personally scaled the steep roof and took pictures of the area the roofers discussedThey are demanding that we repair areas not previously quoted and wanting us to repair the interior againThe leak has been proven to be in a different area than before

This is *** *** *** has not been to our home since the original repair*** offered to come to our home on 7/23/and meet with me in order to discuss the problems with the work his company committed to complete*** came into my home and apologized numerous times (on camera and recorded) for the unprofessional behavior of his employee, *** ***,and told me we had a right to be upset with his employee and company*** went on my roof and came back down showing me photos of the job his team had tried to completeHe stated *** had missed the real issue of the leak and his workers had made a mess of my shingles and left excessive caulking everywhereNo water testing was done so I don't know how he decided that there was a separate issue He stated he would do whatever it took to fix the leak and redo the sheetrock inside the house once he was sure the leak was contained*** gave me his business card and asked to deal with me since I work close enough to be at the house in a moments notice when he arranged for his workers to come backHe said he would call me by the end of the day with all the arrangementsHe failed to do soI called him on 7/and 7/and asked him to return my call which he also failed to do*** has never called me and has never discussed additional work or payment owed for services he claims I now need. I have since had a second opinion on the work Quality Construction was paid to completeThe professional contractor stated the job Quality Construction was contracted to do is still incomplete plus damage has been done from the attempted repair job highlighted by the excessive caulking that was used to cover up the problems caused There is no rot behind the chimney, only water stains Resolution can only be my money refunded in the amount of $as I don't want Quality Construction at my home again

We are at Disney until this weekendIt will be sent on Monday of next week

It has now been a month since the business promised to honor the settlement and we have not received anything

Sorry for the delay, we were on vacation. I would offer a settlement in the amount proposed on one condition that you retract this complaint completely. This complaint is not a result in faulty work. We also made multiple trips to the home to ensure the shingles were repaired properly. Unfortunately for a roofer, if the spot is on a ceiling it's automatically our fault. I'm sorry the siding wasn't noted on our initial inspection.  The people involved no longer are employed by Quality Construction. I sincerely appreciate you both and thank you for being reasonable in coming to an agreement. God Bless,[redacted]

At this time, we have never seen an estimate for repairs that Quality Construction believes needs to be done.  We would have been willing to pay for those repairs if [redacted] would've called us and explained the situation and given us an estimate.  Instead, he chose to ignore of phone calls. We have already hired a contractor to fix the roof and repair the interior wall of our home.  That work has been estimated at $386.00.  We would like reparation in the amount of $193.00 which is half of that amount.

Our representative [redacted] did meet with the family and have the roof and the interior repaired. A cricket was added behind the chimney to move water away from the back of the large chimney. The repair cost was billed at a presumed cost. The cost of the roof and interior repair far exceeded...

our estimate.  We did not charge more to this family. Upon noticing the leak appeared again in the same area, they assumed our work was faulty. She demanded that our rep handle the situation and he made a visit and called the men who repaired the area for them to return. Upon their second visit, they notified [redacted] that the roof was perfect but the boards behind the chimney had rot. This was not noticeable from the front since it was brick on 3 sides. [redacted] texted her and kept records of their communication. She called me and was upset that he texted her instead of calling. This is a preferred method of communication for most customers who work during the day. She was upset and informed me that her husband would be home at a specific time and date and demanded that I, the owner of the company, show up to said appointment. I did. I was on time and had a wonderful visit with her husband [redacted].  I personally scaled the steep roof and took pictures of the area the roofers discussed. They are demanding that we repair areas not previously quoted and wanting us to repair the interior again. The leak has been proven to be in a different area than before.

Before any further discussion, we request the following:1. A copy of said video recording2. A report and contact for the company that has inspected our work3. Their cost estimateThe statement that "[redacted] missed" is false. [redacted] is the person who was at the home and found a secondary issue.  I responded to statements made by [redacted] which I later found some to be untrue.  If I apologized it is because I am sincerely sorry that they are having issues. I may have apologized that a representative texted because it offended a customer although most clients enjoy receiving texts over a phone call.  Texts can be read and a response given at any time. Phone calls require immediate attention and she works in the medical field and respect for that profession was being granted. The statements made by the [redacted] family are only defamatory because they desire free work. A repair was made to the roof by professional roofers. Roofers who have personally done thousands of roofs. No faulty work was done.  We are general contractors and can prove that the repair bill was made. Our expenses totaled more than the income on this repair. A picture was provided in my previous response and it was shown to [redacted] immediately after inspection to show that there are gaps and rotten boards adjacent to the roof repair. The roof is not the only area where water can penetrate. The fact that water is still penetrating does not diminish the repair that was made to the roof. We were told what to do and we did it. I am sympathetic that there is still a leak. Unfortunately, unless it can be proven that our work was faulty or is still leaking in the area we repaired, this complaint is invalid.

We will contact the Revdex.com to resolve the complaint when we receive settlement of  $193. 00.

Mr. [redacted],I sincerely appreciate your prompt responses and I apologize that mine are delayed during this busy time. Since we are using this medium for communication, I would like to go ahead and ask what you feel an amicable resolution may be.  I do not see a mutually beneficial offer given. I would be happy to show receipts that the money given to Quality Construction went to subcontractors and material vendors. At this time, we do not have a surplus to work with. Since this repair is outside the original scope are you willing to help cover the costs?I look forward to teaching a resolution soon. [redacted]
