MrsR***, Thank you for notifying us of the complaint you received regarding one of our tenants. We have been in consistent communication with the tenant and this is a circumstance of personal preference. We have established policies and standards as to the lock types we
utilize at all of our properties for the safety and security of our tenants. A deadbolt is the most secure lock type you will find and is this is the same lock-set I currently have on my personal residenceIt is imperative that we have access to units in case of emergency, especially after hours. We currently manage hundreds of units and having tenant provided keys which may or may not work in the event of an emergency is a risk to the property and the tenant. We have provided the same lockset to the tenant that I use on my personal home and have worked with them in a professional and respectful manner. I refused due to this situation being the breaking point of all my frastration in dealing with Reedy Property Group it is always something with them, they never want to take responsibility for anythingIt was stated that I was dissatisfied with the deadbolt lock, which couldn't be further from the truthMy issue as I stated in my complaint is that Im being charged $75.00 for a bedroom door knobs to be placed on the entrance of my homeI can turn tthe knob and it turns on both sides of the door no matter what side I stand onShe went as far as to say that she has the same knobs on her door which I bet was just a bold face lieIm a hard worker and would like to see that if I pay my rent and cause no issues that things are getting done properlyThey are the true definition of slum lords, all they want is your moneyI have a long list of things that need to be fixedI received several messages about someone coming to change the air filters no one ever showed, leaving me no choice but to go out and purchase my ownI would like to know why Im paying rent if I can't get proper maintenanceThe same maintenance they would want if they had maintenance issues in their homeIt should not depend on how much rent I payThey should have more thoroughly assessed the properties before purchasing them from HillandaleIm very angry and fed up with the less then fair treatment from them
