I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint They stated that they cannot know what happened to the garment since it left their store, but it did NOTAs I stated I was given an emoty hanger but I didn't know thisI will not accept a store credit as I will never do business with them againI find it insulting that this Johnny only responded to this matter when I involved your services and continues to ignore any and all messages I have ever left himThis store is refusing to take responsibility for their mistake and allowing me to be out of pocket for thisThis is unacceptableI brought the matter to their attention the instant I realized their error and they've done nothing but try to brush me off ever sinceThis is bad business and thievery in my opinion. with the staff at our location and they remember you. The customer service representative remembers waiting on you. She stated that she counted the number of garments and hangers and did not notice anything missing. It is hard for us to determine what happen since the garments left the store.

Good afternoon,
 
I generally do not keep receipts for clothes that I pay for
with cash.  I have however gone back to the store and they are unable to
provide me with a receipt only if I can provide the exact date and time of
purchase.
Given that I am not able to
provide a receipt, I have no other alternative but to accept the $275.00 that
Pilgrim is offering. I have been a customer of this Pilgrim location for over
20 years and have always received the best customer service. I will await
the response from Pilgrims on how the payment details will be handled. I would
prefer to pick up the check from my cleaners location.  Thank you for
asisting with this matter.
