Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I did notify waitress about the fish being over-friedShe refused to take it backI NEVER said that I will call police!I did said that I will call inspectorsAnd they should come!The flounder had NO MEAT at allJust fried bones!!!! That is what I called "french fries"I did say that I will pay the bill and it was NO REASON what so ever to call policeFor WHAT????This is absolutely ridiculous!As a matter of fact: my wife also did not like her dish and again the waitress refused to take it back.This is the worst service I have ever seeing and I do not see ANY excuses for what happened Regards, [redacted]

Mr*** *** party of made a reservation for people at 5PMThe reservation was made by a woman named Anita from a phone number ###-###-####Yes, they ordered toru soup, cups of tom ka soup with vegetables, of our specials; Duck Garlic, Pad Ped Squid, Duck Basil,
Crispy Whole Flounder with ginger sauce, and an Udon Kee Mao with ShrimpThey requested no sugar and to steam all vegetables that came with the dishesWe obliged with no extra chargesWe are BYOB and we did not charge them Cork FeeAt the end of their meal when the check was given to them, Mr *** started arguing with my waitstaff about the food not being good at all and complained repeatedly about whole flounderIn comparison to the other whole fish (snapper) that we have on the menu, it is know that the flounder has less meat than the snapper and it said in the menu, Crispy Fried Whole Fist means simply, it is deep fried and crispyI was just on my way to the restaurant when my staff called me about what was going onI suggested for them to call me on my house phone and will talk to the customer and afterwards, will come to the restaurant asapMr*** was very vocal about his complaints and we had a full house of customers around that timeFinally when the phone was given to him, I asked what seemed to be the problemHe was demanding to take out the fish from the bill and adding we must have fried times because it was too crispy and had not much meatI said we did not fry it times and the flounder was prepared deep fried and crispy and that was in the menuHis reply was 'you are very arrogant and you will be sorry for this'He again repeatedly saying 'i would not have prepared or cooked it that way'I responded 'that's how we cook and prepare it and if you are so particularly wanting it the way you would have prepared it, why order it outsideHe again said I was arrogant and will be sorry for itHe then said 'he will send someone/inspector to the restaurant the next day which I replied we are closed tomorrowHe said again 'you'll be sorry but will send someone tomorrowAnd he repeated it again that I will be sorryThat was a threat!!! I called the police and explained the situation The dispatcher sent a police car to the restaurant and they were asked to payBy the time I got there, the party and the police were goneI decided to call the police department again to make sure that on the report, Mr*** threatened to send someone at the restaurant and considered one of this threats as a personal oneIn the past, the police department made it clear that when a customer refuses to pay a bill to call them because that is considered stealingThe other thing that I mentioned to him over the phone was 'why did they not say anything when the food was served and not until the bill was given to themAgain, he called me arrogant and said I will be sorryOn the report you sent me, it said 'Mr*** remarked that 'we have the worst french fries he ever tasted'We do not have and serve french friesI only called the Police after he said he will call the police and after, he threatened meBtw, the police department should have a copy of the report

The complainant kept on insisting that we fried the whole flounder times and no matter how much I said we did not, he was insisting we didHe called me arrogant and added 'You will be sorry for your arrogance'He did say he was sending an inspector to the restaurant the following dayMy response was we are closed tomorrowHis response was 'it doesn't matter you will be sorryHe kept on saying 'he would not have cooked the whole fish like that and I responded 'that's how we prepare itHe added that if we do not take the item from the bill, he will call the policeI said go aheadThat was when I called the policeThe dining room,was full and some of the customers were feeling uncomfortableSince 2009, we have never gotten a complaint from a customer through the Revdex.comWe won Gold for the Best of Essex Best Ethnic Restaurant in and and Bronze in We won the Jersey Choice Best SouthEast Asian Thai in We won Best Thai the Morris/Essex Readers Poll in and 2nd Place Best BYO of Of course, we know that we cannot please everyone but when someone keeps on telling you that you will be sorry for your arrogance, will send an inspector to your place and you will be sorry, and will call the police, that's a threatWhen I called the Police and explained to them what happened, the dispatcher said 'he will send a police car to the restaurantAgain, I called the police only after the complainant said he'll call the policeEvery year, we get inspected by the *** Health Department and never had any unsatisfactory conditionsWe really did not know what the complainant was saying about sending an inspectorWe get involved in the community activities like donating food and our services to the Taste of Bloomfield and the Taste of MontclairIt is unfortunate what happened
