In March customer called and set up an appointment to have valve cover gaskets replacedHe stated he had another shop do the work, but they are still leakingWe suggested he go back to the original repair shopHe didn't want to go back to the other shopWe discovered he needed a new
valve cover because the old one was fatigued and would not hold the gasket in place. So, we not only replaced the valve cover gaskets, but we did additional work and he was happy with it.In September, he brought the car to another shop for a fuel leak and they noted oil leak from left and right valve covers and possible lower oil panNow, he makes an appointment with Quality Foreign to redo the valve cover gaskets under warranty. We check the car and determine it is the timing chain cover gaskets that are leakingHe okays the repair and after removing the right side valve cover, we notice it is also fatigued and should be replaced. We quoted him $375.00, he approved the workWe realized we misquoted him and that the correct price is $When I realized the misquote, I spoke with customer and he said, I have no more money, and I have to have my car back tomorrowSo we had the valve cover repaired by welding shopand got the car ready for customer to pick up in time frame needed. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I brought my car to [redacted] BMW a dealership to assess the oil leaking on my car. [redacted] BMW provided me with a vehicle health inspection noting the valve cover gaskets are leaking oil (see attached documentation). At the time I could not afford financially to have [redacted] BMW fix the car. Once I raised the money to have the valve cover gaskets fixed I brought the car to Quality Foreign Car Care Inc. As mentioned before per my previous packet of information showing photos, documentation, receipts, Quality Foreign Car Care Inc, damaged the passenger's side valve cover and without the owner's consent of the vehicle (me) had welded the damage they caused to the valve cover and installed the item back on the car. Quality Foreign Car Care owesto the owner a new valve cover for the one they damaged and the labor to re-install the item, along with all other items mentioned in previous packet released. Also I have provided plenty of facts and documentation as to the fraud Quality Foreign Car Care tried to commit to me by telling me the vehicle needs and is leaking oil from the upper and lower oil pan gaskets, rear main seal, oil sending unit and forced me to sign their work order deeming the car unsafe after I paid for the unnecessary repair for the timing chain gasket that was not leaking in the first place. (See previous packet with all documentations supporting the claim.) There is no mention in their statement as to their unnecessary luring of a customer to try and commit to repairs notneeded on the car which could have accrued into$ 2,000.00 to$ 3,000.00 dollars of unnecessary repairs. However I have provided documentation in the previous packet released by having an oil dye test done immediately after receiving the vehicle back, clearly showing those items were not in need of repair. As far as a miss quote on the valve cover that was replaced that did not need to be replaced in the first time, there was no mention to me that this occurred. I have not seen any factual documentation from Quality Foreign Car Care. I request all back documentation from them for all items mentioned in my previous packet released to the Revdex.com, as I have provided complete and accurate ·documentation. The repair shop had my vehicle in an excessive of 17 days, for a two day commitment originally quoted by the mechanic's shop. The packet that I previously submitted was concise and completed and not confusing and disjointed, with accompanied documentation, photos and research completed for the complaint. The only items I found to be confusing and disjointed was the double talk Quality Foreign Car Care was providing to the customer as previous noted in the packet released. Please refer to the previous packet released, for all items stated have not been addressed by Quality Foreign Car Care, nor has any of their statements backed up with any documentation to provide truth to their statements, as I have provided documentation providing truth to my claim.
Regards,
