Quality Heating & Cooling installed a new A/C system consisting of an outside unit and a connecting unit in the attic of our home in April The damaged property occurred at our home when one of quality's employees who had been working in the attic shoved our attic access ladder up into the attic incorrectly and with such force that it destroyed the inside wood guide channelThis employee had been suffering severe back pains during the entire installation and was consuming pain pills throughoutThis contributed to his frustration and failure to close the attic access ladder correctlyNote: This ladder has been in use for many years without any damage to the inside wood guide channel - because it was always closed properlyThe damage was discovered the day following the installation when Quality called us to obtain the serial numbers that they had neglected to record from the attic unitThe door to the attic was unable to be closed because of the damaged ladderThe Quality office was informed of the damage when we called back to give them the serial numbersOur contractor came that afternoon to assess the damage, and close the door to the atticThe contractor and his employees spent several houses manipulating the damaged ladder in order to close the attic doorOur intention was to withhold a portion of our final payment ($10,500.00) until we had a bill for the repairPresident [redacted] told us that their insurance company had already been notified of the claim, and we should pay the entire bill to Quality and we would be reimbursed for the damage through their insurance companyWe were to send the bill for the ladder repair to Quality so they could submit it to the insurance companyThis we did in a letter on June 10, 2017, with the bill in the amount of $2,We heard nothing from their insurance company for four or five weeks, made numerous phone calls to Quality, and finally contacted the insurance agent ourselvesUltimately, he told us Quality denied any responsibility for the damage and the insurance company was denying the claim [redacted] said she had no intention of paying anything to us and felt no responsibility for the damageWe would like to be reimbursed for the damage to our property caused by a Quality employeeIn addition, we feel it is important to bring to the attention of the Revdex.com the unethical practices of Quality - sending or long-time client through the motions of an insurance claim that Quality intended not to supportThey were deliberately deceptive in handling our problemOur being on record with you will make it harder for them to victimize others in this wayWee thank you for your assistance in the matter

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I refuse to keep repairing the same issues at the same time every year when it is at the peak of heat in [redacted] Since the 3rd day of purchase I had asked to get a different vehicle because of the engine light coming on the first day I drove it home and it still til this day it is still on I had to go through a big issue when I had to renew my tags just to keep the light off and pass emissionsthis car has several recalls and several major issues that keep coming backif I take the repair again this time I can gaurantee next year one month after the warranty is up again I will be writing to you again that it went outSo at this point I need them to give me another vehicle I dont care if it is the same payment amount I do not want further issues with this cari do not have the time or finances to keep repairing this vehicle any longer enough is enough im quite sure if they were in the same predicament they would of went above and beyond til someone did something for them but apparenty they dont care since it is not happening to them***i need this issue resolved by trade in ASAP ! We have used Quality Heating and Cooling several times and always been satisfiedMalcolm attempted to save us the cost of a service visit by walking me through several quick tests firstWhen it turned out that he had to come to the house to solve the issue, he was courteous and efficientHe diagnosed and resolved the problem quickly and was extremely professional throughout the entire process

Quality Heating has been a great company to rely on for excellent care in heating and air conditioning We have used them for many years

The basis of this complaint was not about the quality of the installation, but rather the damage claimed to the pull down ladder to the attic, which the homeowner said was old and for the boys to be careful We have worked on equipment inthe attic for the last years and do not know the age of the ladder.The customer wanted to withhold $for repairs I informed him that I reported his claim to our insurance company.The adjuster was unable to document the damages Photos wer requested of the damage but all that was received was an invoice for $which was for hours of labor and $of materials The insurance company denied the claim because of lack of proof.The customer then wanted Quality to pay the invoice which we did not feel responsible for

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Before I am willing to accept this I am going to ask what am I suppsoed to do in regards to my engine light being on since day one which I had taken to you since day one and all you do I say nothing is wrong and just clear then engine light and reset itevery time im going to go through emissions its not going to passare you guys not going to fix that because this has been something that has been happening since day under warranty and that I had to keep taking in every week and you guys insisting that there was nothing wrongAlso what am I supposed if the compressor goes out again the same time next year for the third time? why is it so hard to try and work with me and put me in a different vehicle it does not need to be brand new or anything I do understand it has to be within my means but honestly how do you think your goodwill is going to solve this issue it should not even be titled as a goodwill because this has been a repetitive an ongoing issue and I keep having to come and complain on the Revdex.com for you guys to even do somethingif you look at my history I have literally gone in several times about ten to be exact and thats not the total amount including the times I had gotten repairs from other companies which I do have documented as well if you would like to see thosethis car is obviously defective and its not fair that I have to pay the price for a car you sold me knowing it was a problem car that I am quite sure was not inspected properly or detailed properly before you sold it to me because you guys had just gotten it on the lot as the seller [redacted] has specified to me the day we came in to buy which also insisted and swore that the car was not in an accident but I find out was a week later after I forced him to give me the car fax this to me in my eyes is just taking the simple way out which wont help you because im quite sure we will have to go through this again and im not going to let this go that easyso can you please be reasonable and have a better solution Regards, [redacted]

Quality Heating and Cooling Inchas serviced our furnace/air conditioners for over years and have always done a great job They have always been reasonable, honest, and nice to deal with and will answer any questions you have

Re: ID# [redacted] Please accept this as a response to the complaint filed by [redacted] [redacted] did visit our dealership and test drive a new [redacted] At the time we were unaware that he was here on the $6,trade in promotion Once he brought that to our attention we did clarify what vehicles qualified and which did notAs the ad states “ Please visit [redacted] for full details” the disclaimer on the site reads, “All prices plus tax title license and dealer documentation feeNew car prices include manufacturer's rebateOffers may not be combined with any other offer, promotion, pricing, or incentive$6,minimum trade in special limited to vehicles in new car display areaNot all new vehicles qualify for $6,minimum trade inDealer retains all rebates on all promotional pricing See dealer for compete detailsDealer not responsible for typographical or photographical errorsAll vehicles and offers subject to prior sale and program termination without noticePrices do not include dealer adds or reconditioning feesNot everyone will qualify for certain promotions Dealer retains all rebates on all promotional pricing ” In response the statement made by [redacted] that we tried to show him cars that he did not want, we did show him and offer the vehicles that qualified for the promotion In response to the statement made by [redacted] that he believes that we intended to mislead and disappoint customers, nothing could be further from the truth As a business that thrives and relies on customer service we take great pride extending the best customer service Our model is that without great customer service business will not meet it’s peak potentialThere was nothing ever done to intentionally mislead or disappoint [redacted] We did offer [redacted] additional money, while not $6,000, for his trade in as an attempt to keep him happyWe cannot offer more than what the ad states If [redacted] would like to purchase one of the designated vehicles we will indeed offer the $6,trade in promotionIf [redacted] would like to pick out another vehicle that does not qualify for that promotion, we will be happy to extend the lowest advertised price to him The remedy [redacted] is seeking (The $6,trade in on a non qualifying unit and also taking the rebates) is not available on the vehicle he picked out and it is also a larger discount that what the ad states Please let us know if you have any further questions
