Quality home furnishings did not once ever offer to send someone out to look at my washing machineNot once did I become hostile I ended the conversation with the manager becaus I knew I was getting nowhere She just kept saying they don't inspect units top to bottom unless you pay over $She kept going in circles placing the blame on the warehouse they get their equipment fromI did not state that the issue started as soon I got the equipment The issue started after warranty Believe I've worked for companies that have warranty products and I know after warranty basically it is your lossThe reason I called in June was because my washer worked up until the putty fell off the bottom of the washer and at that time is when I realized there was a crack on the barrelAlso not once did I state someone took the washer apartWe looked at the bottom of the washer and that's when the putty was hanging The washer is still put together in one piece and never taken apart (like manager stated I told her I took it apart) I was concerned about being out of a washer as well as my carpet being soaked and now have mildew It was more tHan my carpet The manager was rude and didnt want to listen and not once offered me a solution to my problemI still have no resolution to my problem The accusations of the manager and obsurd and out of controlI just would like some money back or for them to patch my washer back up the way they did the first time

My name is Wanda D***, I am the manager of Quality Home Furnishings at Lyell Ave., Rochester NY Ms [redacted] purchased a washer and dryer on Feb12, She called the store in June saying that she had some kind of leak within her washer that caused her to have a flood in her laundry areaAccording to her the leak had been ongoing since the initial purchaseShe was upset; I asked if she had already called in for a service callShe said, noShe also knew that we had a day warrantyAs the conversation continued I asked why she didn't call after she was feeling the damp floor and she couldn't respondWe take care of our warranty calls even after the day warranty period expires, I could've had this washing machine serviced for her in February/March had she called meAs we continue talking she is explaining that she had someone take apart the machine to look for the water leakageMs [redacted] was upset and I understand but she never asked us to repair this unitShe was only concerned about her floor and not wanting to replace a carpet on the propertyI had no problem sending out a service worker but she never asked for oneShe was too focused on the leak and water damageShe said she had purchased several items from us before, so I try to give her the benefit of the doubt but no one wants anyone screaming to them on the phone saying how we offer bad serviceI have worked here many years and try to take care of all my customers as much as possibleAs the conversation became hostile and she began calling us criminals and thievesI realized nothing I said was going to satisfy herWe sell hundreds of washers per year and everyone is serviced the sameCabinets are removed, tubs inspected, broken parts replacedIf a tub is cracked the machine is scraped, we don't replace any tubs because the cost will outweigh the retail valueTherefore our service department would never put tape or putty on a cracked tub because it will never holdBut like I said I had no problem setting her up for a service call, but again she did not want itIn order for us to resolve this matter I need one of our service advisors to assess the washerWe need to review and verify the problem ourselves in order to replace the machine

area. According to her the leak had been ongoing since the initial purchase. She was upset; I asked if she had already called in for a service call. She said, no. She also knew that we had a 30 day warranty. As the conversation continued I asked why she didn't call after she was feeling the damp floor and she couldn't respond. We take care of our warranty calls even after the 30 day warranty period expires, I could've had this washing machine serviced for her in February/March had she called me. As we continue talking she is explaining that she had someone take apart the machine to look for the water leakage. Ms. [redacted] was upset and I understand but she never asked us to repair this unit. She was only concerned about her floor and not wanting to replace a carpet on the property. I had no problem sending out a service worker but she never asked for one. She was too focused on the leak and water damage. She said she had purchased several items from us before, so I try to give her the benefit of the doubt but no one wants anyone screaming to them on the phone saying how we offer bad service. I have worked here many years and try to take care of all my customers as much as possible. As the conversation became hostile and she began calling us criminals and thieves. I realized nothing I said was going to satisfy her. We sell hundreds of washers per year and everyone is serviced the same. Cabinets are removed, tubs inspected, broken parts replaced. If a tub is cracked the machine is scraped, we don't replace any tubs because the cost will outweigh the retail value. Therefore our service department would never put tape or putty on a cracked tub because it will never hold. But like I said I had no problem setting her up for a service call, but again she did not want it. In order for us to resolve this matter I need one of our service advisors to assess the washer. We need to review and verify the problem ourselves in order to replace the machine.
