Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: In response to K [redacted] 's allegations: My brother, [redacted] , hired "Quality Home Improvement" to make doors for our shed ON MY BEHALFWhen my brother asked me what I thought of the doors, I replied that they seemed (from a distance) to be good; I was pleasedThat is the genesis of his response to K [redacted] about the appearance of his workLater, UPON CLOSER INSPECTION, I saw that the door on the right was longer than than the door on the leftI am not an architectHowever, I am sure that the length of the doors, recognized soon after their construction, had nothing to do with some rot on the corner of the shed! I also noticed some holes in the door that appeared to indicate that the person who installed the latch miscalculated and attempted another approach to meet the demands of the fixtureWhen I called this to the attention of K [redacted] , he said, "I didn't make the holes"The repeated requests to K [redacted] to adjust the doors were made for LEGITIMATE reasons, i.e., the doors did not match, and/or they would not open/closeIn other words, if K [redacted] was told that there was an issue with the doors, THERE WAS AN ISSUE! When asked about K [redacted] 's claim, my brother said that K [redacted] may have told him a landscaper would be needed to replace the stones disrupted during a door adjustmentI had not been aware of thatIn any event, lawn was torn up, which seemed unnecessary, slate was broken, and stones WERE NOT replaced in any fashion resembling their original formation, whatsoever! K [redacted] not only told me he would come over to adjust whatever malfunction existed because of his work and DID NOT KEEP HIS WORD; he also did not keep his word to my brother to check on the doors for his final request, and he DID NOT replace the slate, as he stated he had in his response to my Revdex.com complaintThe bottom line is: I would never choose to have "Quality Home Improvement" on our property again, nor would I recommend them to anyone, should I be asked for my opinionI deem this matter closedMy purpose in responding to K [redacted] 's response is to have on record with the Revdex.com my dissatisfaction with this contractor for his disrespectful and untruthful manner and poor business practices Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
In response to K[redacted]'s allegations:
My brother, [redacted], hired "Quality Home Improvement" to make 2 doors for our shed ON MY BEHALF.
When my brother asked me what I thought of the doors, I replied that they seemed (from a distance) to be good; I was pleased. That is the genesis of his response to K[redacted] about the appearance of his work.
Later, UPON CLOSER INSPECTION, I saw that the door on the right was longer than than the door on the left. I am not an architect. However, I am sure that the length of the doors, recognized soon after their construction, had nothing to do with some rot on the corner of the shed!
I also noticed some holes in the door that appeared to indicate that the person who installed the latch miscalculated and
attempted another approach to meet the demands of the fixture.
When I called this to the attention of K[redacted], he said, "I didn't make the holes".
The repeated requests to K[redacted] to adjust the doors were made for LEGITIMATE reasons, i.e., the doors did not match, and/or they would not open/close. In other words, if K[redacted] was told that there was an issue with the doors, THERE WAS AN ISSUE!
When asked about K[redacted]'s claim, my brother said that K[redacted] may have told him a landscaper would be needed to replace the stones disrupted during a door adjustment. I had not been aware of that.
In any event, lawn was torn up, which seemed unnecessary, slate was broken, and stones WERE NOT replaced in
any fashion resembling their original formation, whatsoever!
K[redacted] not only told me he would come over to adjust whatever malfunction existed because of his work and DID NOT KEEP HIS WORD; he also did not keep his word to my brother to check on the doors for his final request, and he DID NOT replace the slate, as he stated he had in his response to my Revdex.com complaint.
The bottom line is: I would never choose to have "Quality Home Improvement" on our property again, nor would
I recommend them to anyone, should I be asked for my opinion.
I deem this matter closed. My purpose in responding to K[redacted]'s response is to have on record with the Revdex.com my dissatisfaction with this contractor for his disrespectful and untruthful manner and poor business practices.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
