Review: In July my family took a vacation. For the nights of July 10th and July 11th this hotel was booked by "[redacted]" (a travel agent out of [redacted]. When we arrived at the Hotel, the entryway and back hallway was extremely full of cigarette smoke. We had to go through this just to get to the room. When we went into the room, there was a very musty smell and it was hot. We turned on the air conditioner. Within 5 min the entire section of carpet by the wall was soaked. We called the front desk and they sent a maint person. He checked the AC and the coil was broken. We asked for another room. The Lady at the front then gave us another room, this one on the 2nd floor. We had to once again go through the smoke filled hallway and take our stuff up the stairs. The Lady said due to our trouble they would only charge us a rate of 90$ a night instead of the 119. When we went to leave, the rate was still 119 and we were then told they could not change the rate. The hotel was dirty, the rooms were dirty, the hallways were filled with smoke. My children would not stay and ended up sleeping on the floor at my Mothers apartment.Desired Settlement: Due to the horrid conditions, the fact that we were told that they would lower our rate, and that we had to have our children sleep on the floor of my mother's apartment We would like a refund of at least half of what we spent.

Review: My fianc and I stayed at the Quality Inn for a wedding and had rooms blocked. We hurried to our room dropped our luggage off and went to get dinner. Upon return we start to notice things in our room. The room was very dirty and unacceptable. We found burn holes on the comforter, large yellow stains on the feather blanket, spider webs hanging from the ceiling, the window had large crack in it and severe water damage and what looked like mold growing on the wall around it. The thing that really set us off was the band aid on the bathroom floor. My fianc went to the front desk to report these things and ask if we could be moved or someone could come clean the room. The lady at the front desk told us there was nothing she could do and that they had no rooms to move us to. She said that there was no one there to clean the room or report too that we would have to come back down in the morning. So my fianc ask if we could have clean bedding and we would change the bed ourselves. She give us one blanket because she said that is all she had. Next morning, my fianc went back down and now the house keeping manager was in and we had to fight with her to come look at the room. After she looked at it she agreed that is was acceptable and offered to clean the room while we attended the wedding and also a discount. She informed us that she was there till 11pm the night before and no one contacted her. We only received a $7 discount. But my story continues, we paid with cash and the day after we checked out the hotel charged my card a $1 in the morning and $1 later that day. So I called the hotel and asked the charges be remove and again the same front desk lady told me there was nothing she could do that she would have to talk to guy that charged my account and call me back.. After 4 phone calls to the hotel and her telling me she hasn't seen him for the last week and a half. I called the corp office and they are working to get it fix the problem. Definitely worse hotel ever!Desired Settlement: I feel after all the problems that occurred and the staff at the hotel being so unwilling to help,That I should just get a refund for my stay. There corporate office was very helpful with solving issues and helping to fix the charges to my card. But the staff at the hotel is very ruin, I know it is only $2 that was charged to my account but what if this is some kind of scam. Seems very strange that the front desk lady hasn't see this guy for week and half and won't report to the manager.
