Our guests are our number one priority at the property and if someone is dissatisfied with their experience, we work very hard to correct this immediately and in a... timely fashion in order to turn their experience around. Regarding the guest complaint, after the guest check in, approximately half an hour later she returned to the front desk complaining her room was dirty. She did mot mention any thing about the hair on the sink. Our hotel policy regarding complaints is that guest informs us right away to correct the issue. After half an hour there is no way to tell if issues were present from the beginning. Regarding cleanliness of bed sheets, ice buckets, and dirty microwave, one of the hotel representatives present at the time went to the room to confirm the complaint and did not find any of those to be true and even then she was given a different room which was inspected first to make sure and was perfectly clean. Regarding our housekeeping staff, they are well trained and have performed all the required training programs required by choice hotels. After each room is cleaned there is a head housekeeper who inspects each room after the room is cleaned. Finally, regarding the timeliness of response by manager, I gave her a call right away the next morning when I got back, the call was forwarded in to her voicemail and I did leave a message apologizing and offering her a discount. Not to mention her room was already booked at a discounted rate. After checking on the complaints, we did not find many of the things she has stated in her review so we gave her a ten percent discount. Again our guests are our number one priority at the property and if someone is dissatisfied with their experience, we work very hard to correct this immediately and in a timely fashion and the sooner we are notified the faster we can address and find resolutions.
