April 25, 2016Dear Representative of Revdex.com, This letter is in response to a claim submitted by a *** ***, ID ***. Guest had stayed with us for the night of 4/9/and checked out the following date. The room was reserved in her daughter's name, ***
***. Upon check in the room was paid for by both the daughter *** *** and by *** *** who decided to split the cost of the room in half. Each paying a total of $from each card for a total room cost of $163.22. During our check out process there was a mistake on our part which caused the card of *** *** to receive a double charge of room rate, and the non-smoking fee. We received a complaint from our main headquarters to remove all charges except for nights stay. We did so as we were told. But to compensate for any damages we may have done, we returned all of the guest's money including the one night's stay. *** *** had contacted us the following day of the issue. My front desk clerk was treated to an earful of curse words to which the bank teller had to hang up on her when they had a 3way call. The same day of said conversation we refunded the credit due back to her plus the night stay. We were also notified of another issue with *** *** card. Which we had told to the bank representative and to *** *** that anything on the daughter's card was just an authorization and it would fall off within a few days. We were in constant contact with *** *** through this whole ordeal. We spoke with her bank's representatives and assured them on our part that we have returned all credit due to her and were never told by the banks of any wrong doing, or of any penalties that may have been sustained. To compensate *** ***, Choice central our headquarters has provided her with free nights at a hotel.
