I booked thru a website . Paid for hotel room before arriving. Arrive at hotel checked in . Got to the room and there was some type of bodily fluid all over the bed . I contacted front desk . I explained to them this was unacceptable and especially with the covid-19 pandemic . I asked to be moved to another room they refused . I said that I would be contacting the booking website to make them aware of these issue and to get a refund .The owner then physically grabbed me and asked me to leave . I did in fact pay for the stay . The hotel wasn’t not clean. I have pictures to prove it . I did not stay there. I also was very embarrassed to be put out of a hotel because they are now following the correct procedures with the deadly virus that’s going on . This shouldn’t be something that’s allowed .
This guest did check in to our hotel and complained that there was a stain on the bed. Our interpretation of the situation is entirely different from the guest. When the guest checked in she complained about liquid that had been spilled on the bed. Before any room is rented at our hotel, rooms are inspected twice. The ownership and Choice franchise do not allow stained bedding of any kind in a room that is rented. After the complaint was issued to the front desk, the head of housekeeping checked the room and did not see a stain. The front desk did offer to change her room, but she wanted a smoking room. The Comfort Inn is a smoke free environment and this was not a possibility. At this time the hotel has plenty of non smoking rooms that she could have moved to but she refused.There was no physical confrontation as was alleged by the guest. After her departure she complained to the Choice franchise and they gave her 4,000 Choice points on our behalf but would not refund any money.

this is far from the truth . I didn’t waste anything. I have pictures of the bed if I wasted something it would have been wet not a stain. I asked to be refunded .I did not stay at the hotel . They said the booking website would provide it . When the website called . They lied and said I wanted a free room . I have a copy of the conversation . These people should be investigated for sanitation . A serious health hazard during vivid-19 . I would like them to provide my check- in time . Also the other times I have stayed at this hotel . I would like to refunded fully not given points .
We are sorry to hear that the guest is still unhappy. Choice Hotels offered a resolution on our behalf of 4,000 points and guest agreed. Hotel can not offer any other compensation to this guest. We do sincerely apologize if guest feels like her room did not meet her expectations. Our staff at Quality Inn and Suites work extremely hard to provide our guests with superior customer service and cleanliness. Thank you for your feedback.
