Quality Inn & Suites - Kingston

Family stayed at this hotel. Was moved 3 TIMES due to ants, other insects, and cleanliness of 'each' room. Finally on the third room we spent our own money to purchase cleaning supplies to clean bathroom. Bathtub had hair, bathroom floor sticky, toilet never cleaned under lid in all 3 rooms. When it was brought to the attention of management AND the manager of the cleaning staff they were rude, insensitive, and condescending. We were unable to terminate our 3 day stay because hotel space in the area was not available otherwise you can believe we would have. Do not recommend this hotel for anyone

One of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. Let me count the ways....
1. First of all, there was a pile of tiny ants hanging out on the desk in my room my last night there, a large furry spider crawling on my bed, and centipedes in the bathroom.
2. I stayed for 5 nights but had 3 reservations because I made the original reservation for 3 nights, then had to add a night on at the beginning and at the end, and that's the only way they'd let me do it. So when I checked in it was only for one night, then the next day I had to check out & back in again. I went to the desk the first morning to do this. One of the women helping me later came knocking on my door to ask if I was checking out (waking me from a nap) - after having just been through the whole thing an hour earlier, with her right there. When I said "no, we just discussed this, I'm staying for 5 nights," she just said "Oh" and walked away.
The same woman came knocking on my door the next day to ask if I'd requested a toothbrush. When I said no, she didn't even say anything, just walked away.
3. When I arrived in my room, the a/c would not turn on. I was told I had to use the wall controls, not the controls on the unit itself, but nothing was happening. I asked someone to come take a look. The woman at the desk was apparently the only person working at the hotel, because she was the one who came, and apologized that he front desk was really busy. She played around with the wall controls, which didn't work, and then went over and used the unit controls and told me "Oh, sorry, not all the units are hooked up to the wall controls. I guess I should have told you that."
4. I went to use the fitness room, and the a/c was completely broken. It was 80 degrees in the room. Three people came in & out trying to fix it, but it never was fixed.
5. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was one of the most depressing places I've ever eaten. Dark, silent, depressing space. There was only one waitress working 13 tables, so everyone was annoyed. Also the hostess kept giving everyone who came in the full menu, and then the waitress had to take it back for most guests since breakfast was included, but we could only pick from a small menu of 3 options.
6. The view from the indoor pool is a rusted out trailer.
