Quality Inn

I called in advance to cancel my stay for Dec 11 and the agent said everything would be ok, that I called with enough time. I also cancelled through ***.
A few days later I see a charge on my credit card. I called the hotel and they said a credit was issued. The next week I called again and said that no credit showed on my card. They told me to contact my bank, that it is their fault. The bank said no credit or reversal was done.
These phone calls to Quality Inn continued for weeks. I then spoke to Pete the manager on January 25th. He sent me a statement showing a credit issue on Jan 25th. And to wait one week for it to show ( so all the previous stories they said to me was a lie). I call Pete again on Feb 3rd because I still never received a credit. He said to wait 3 more days. It’s February 6th now and still no credit. Tried calling and phone is busy
