The customer is absolutely incorrect. I do not know why, he was paranoid from the start, the emails that we received even before he ever received the machine are below. I had absolutely NOTHING to do with him being deleted from the forum. He signed up there only to bash our company, and...

many many people, NONE who work for our company had responded to his post saying that his complaints had no merit.    His main complaint was that he says the machine is serial numbered and dated from August 2017, and he received it in November of 2017. We explained to him that these machines are made in China, which after they are made, it takes us a few months to receive them from over there.  So thats why it is dated August, and we just received them in November and shipped one to him. The dates can vary much more than that with different models. Thats about as close as it can possibly even get! He started before ever even receiving the machine, as you can see in the email. Thinking that we shipped it too fast?  Thinking the trucking company is going to take it apart and steal parts off of it because they were a few hours later than they said to deliver it?    Like where the heck does someone even come up with these things.  We wanted the customer to be happy with the machine, but there is nothing we can do about the date, or little imperfections in the paint, etc.   It is a low priced, Chinese milling machine, the lowest priced hobby level machine that we carry, and he wants it to be just like a $100,000 Machine. I want him to be happy with it, but he also has to be reasonable. Even a $100,000 machine is going to get little dings in the paint or something from setting it up. Its impossible for that not to happen no matter how careful they are setting it up.           I have offered more than once to him, that if this customer is not happy with the machine, to return for a full refund. That is no problem. He will lose nothing. He has refused to do so, and I do not understand why. If he was not happy with it, RETURN IT FOR A FULL REFUND, JUST LIKE I OFFERED MORE THAN ONCE.  Emails are included as an attachment. We tried our best, we have thousands of happy customers, but I guess you can't win them all even though we would like to.

Review: Back in janurary I payed for a lathe I was told It would ship to my house in 8 to 10 weeks.This is now july and every time I email [redacted] I'm not getting a shipping date to my house. I've tryed to be nice and still haven't gotten a time for delivery.A few mounths ago I talked with [redacted] and he said it was his falt that the shippment was late. I thought that I could live with that but It seems that he keeps trying to hold me off. On last email it sounded like he was getting in machines I was told I would be the 3erd person to get one. I have all emails between us Im a nice guy I think [redacted] is to but the amount of money I've put out on a promise I could have made an investment with. Then when it came in I could have purched it insteed I desided to trust [redacted] all I want to know is when i'll see it. This is the last thing I wanted to do. If I can't get an answer from Im I would hope to get It from someone its alot of money.Desired Settlement: Would like for someone other than matt to know what Is happening and to find out why he won't let me know a shipping date. Thats all I want to know is the shipping date I feel I' ve waited long enough Its time to let me know.

I am replying to the customer complaint shown above.

Yes, this customer is completely right about the machine being late, there 'were many delays with manufacturing, and shipping to cause it to be delayed until now. He has always had an option to cancel and receive a full refund, or wait it out to receive the machine. Just a bit before we received this letter, we provided him with tracking information for the shipment coming from <st1:country-region>Taiwan</st1:country-region>, and have also explained when it will be here and delivered. We always have answered his email, but I know it can be very frustrating when originally it should have been 10-12 weeks, and turned in to 20 weeks. That is why he has always had the option to cancel and receive a full refund.

But, he has decided to keep the order, he will receive his machine in August for sure, and I have also gave him a $500 credit that he can use for extra accessories or a discount, for the machine being very late.

But as I said before, it was never a problem if he would have wanted to cancel, since it was past the expected delivery date, an immediate full refund was and is still an option if he would decide on that. But he should be all set now, in the letter it just says he wanted a delivery date, which we have provided for him, and he is able to go online to the shippers web site with the instructions that I gave him, and he can track the progress of the shipment from Taiwan.

I have a second complaint with quality machine tools 701 parkway view drive parkway west ind park bldg 7 pittsburgh 15205 ph ###-###-####. On the first complaint I orderd a lathe on 1-17-13 I was told that I would have this lathe in 8 to 10 weeks and that didn't happen so I made a complaint. At that time I talked with the owner matt he told me that he would give me a 500.00 tool credit it seems like im running in to the same problem that I had with the lathe. I payed for the lathe up front l was nice and waited this time I don't feel that I should have to go through it so I would like to just have him send me the money. Ive sent him emails with out any result if you could look in to this I would appreciate it thanks.
