Me, and two other people gave [redacted] $2100 for a deposit on an apartment. He however, failed to contact the landlord for us and then stopped helping us look for an apartment all together. Once we didn't hear from him for awhile we called, texted, and emailed him to get our deposit back. He eventually told us he would meet up with us, well he never showed up and then stopped answering his phone again. I told him I was calling my lawyer and then he finally replied and said we would meet the next day to get the money back, well he didn't show up again ( this happened three times actually)! It has been three weeks since we gave [redacted] the $2100 deposit and he still hasn't gave it back. He told us we would receive a full refund and now he is no where to be found. This man steals money! I am making it a point to bring his business down! I will get my money back! If you go on craigslist and type in his name or his businesses name there are many people complaining about the same issue I have!Product_Or_Service: apartment depositDesired SettlementA full refund of $2100 and an apology... and his business shut down because he has done this a lot apparently!

Failed to return monies owed in the amount of $2,000. Failed to keep promise to return monies owed. On [redacted] 2014, Mr. [redacted] A. [redacted] showed us two apartments. We decided to go through the process to rent from the second landlord. My fiance gave Mr. [redacted] his paystub and we decided we would meet on [redacted] to give my paystubs and the funds for the apartment. On [redacted] we arrived at Mr. [redacted]'s office to contine with the transaction, but he wasn't there. We called him and he said that his fiance was coming to take the funds and deposit them into the landlord's account. We received a receipt for [redacted] and left. The landlord tenant meeting was the next week, where Mr. [redacted] did not provide the required documentation and told us that he had lost my fiance's pay stub, that it might be in a "drawer at home". The landlord was irate with the situation. On the following Wednesday, the landlord "Ed" called me at work and told me that we were losing the apartment due to Mr. [redacted]'s lack of professionalism and non-receipt of funds and told me to get my money back and we would handle the transaction without Mr. [redacted]. The landlord had asked me not to tell Mr. [redacted] about what was going on, for fear that he would hold the funds, due to the landlord hearing about a rental scam on Main Street. Therefore, I called Mr. [redacted] and told him that we decided not to go with the apartment and would like our funds back. He told me it would take five business days for me to get it back. He said next Thursday at [redacted] we could come and get the money back. My fiance arrived at his office and he wasn't there. I texted Mr. [redacted] and he said that he was at a showing and four would be better. At four my fiance again showed up at his office. He still wasn't there. There was another man there looking for his [redacted] Mr. [redacted] then said he wouldn't be there until [redacted] My fiance waited in the office. At [redacted] Mr. [redacted] arrived and did not acknowledge my fiance and went to his office. I arrived around 5:15 after leaving my office. Mr. [redacted] then came out and told me that it wouldn't be until [redacted] I told him we would wait. Him and a mutual friend then got into a fistfight and I was told that he needed to go to the police station and I couldn't get my money back. We received a phone call from him a few hours later saying that I would get my money back this evening and that he would give me a call. At [redacted] pm I called him and he said that I would have to get it tomorrow from him. The next day he wouldn't respond to my calls, texts and would even hang up on me when I said who I was. His business partner would as well. We went to the policy department, and they said that we had to go to our home town police department and file a report. We went to Shrewsbury police department where officer Caola phoned Mr. [redacted] after pulling his lengthy criminal record. Mr. [redacted] said he would mail us our check and we would receive it by Wednesday the latest. He never sent a check even after I texted him asking where it was when he "Confirmed it had been sent." (I can forward all text messages and receipts). I contacted my lawyer and the Real Estate Board. He has no real estate license whatsoever and is known by the office of investigations as running a scam. They are investigating a fraud charge and will be prosecuting with our help. We have filed a small claims case against Mr. [redacted] and are awaiting trial date.Desired SettlementI am requiring my [redacted] back. Plus [redacted] in court costs.

I gave [redacted] from Quality Management and Loans [redacted] for an apartment on Endicott Street and he took off with my money.I was referred to [redacted] and his company Quality Management and Loans through a friend and I contacted [redacted] through [redacted] and we were corresponding via [redacted] and Text Message for awhile. His wife [redacted] (her name on facebook) took me to view an apartment on [redacted] in [redacted] but it was too small for me. On [redacted] 2015 [redacted] had posted a video on [redacted] of an apartment and I instant messaged him on [redacted] with interest, he replied and said to call him and I did and he told me to look at the video again and to inbox him. I inboxed him and he told me that he just spoke to the landlord about me and to put down first and last and he ([redacted]) would start the process. After that, I told him that I had [redacted] on me and he said what's your address it will take me 30 minutes to get there and rent out another apartment, I asked him if it was the top of the hill he said yes two houses down its by the corner of [redacted] I said as long as its not passing [redacted] At 6:43pm on [redacted] 2015 he said he was pulling up outside in front of my Mother's house, he was with his pregnant girlfriend [redacted] we talked about the apartment and he said he would take me to see it the following day and I told him I wasn't comfortable giving [redacted] and I asked how much would the landlord take to hold the apartment and he told me [redacted] gave him [redacted] for the first months rent and [redacted] for a background check, in total I gave [redacted] He gave me a receipt on legal pad paper which we both signed and he told me he would return the next day with a company receipt. Later that night I went on [redacted] and seen that he had posted the same apartment I just gave him a deposit for again on his page so I commented and asked him why was he posting it again amd he deleted my comment. I was reached through [redacted] inbox by a person I dont knwknow and she told me that her sister just went to court to file a case against him and the company because he stole her money and took off and she hasn't been able to locate him amd neither have the courts. I inboxed [redacted] and told him and he said that he was not a fraud and that if I was uncomfortable that he would return the money I gave him to me. I told him yes that I want my money back and from that moment on I have been getting the run around with him. I call him and he tells me he will come to me in an hour or 15 minutes and he doesn't show. He tells me he's not in the city but when he gets back he'll come to me. He told me he was in the hospital because his wife gave birth to their son and he couldn't make it. I told him I would meet him at the hospital and got no response. I've had my family call him from their phones he would pick up because its an unknown number to him and he'd say that he's on his way then doesn't show up and when we call again he doesn't pick up. I've downloaded apps with diffrent numbers to call him and it's the same thing all the time, he ignores my calls or texts back saying he's in a meeting and he'll call back but never does. I've even had my family and friends from other states call him because they have diffrent numbers and area codes. I'm homeless with 3 kids because of this person and so called company. I just really want and need my money back so I can get an apartment for my kids and move on from this. This is so wrong and I feel so embarrassed that this has happened to me but all I wanted was an apartment for me and my kids. Please help me. This management co[redacted] for myself and my 3 children. They after 3 weeks with no luck and with them giving me the run around I decided I no longer wanted to work with them. I requested my money in the amount of [redacted] be returned to me. They refused on many occasions. The [redacted] took me in his car to view a property. I did not like it. The apartment t was falling apart and was not livable. [redacted] attempted to pressure me into signing a lease anyway assuring me repairs and updates would be made. I refused. On the ride back to the office [redacted] swore at me, yelled at me, called me names, and drove in a very unsafe manner. I felt these were all scare tactics being used to pressure me into signing the lease. [redacted] had me scared, upset, and crying. This came after I was already promised 2 other apartments that some how "fell through". After that I spoke with the owner, [redacted], who informed me he had another location. I went to see the apartment and liked it. It took [redacted] almost a week to turn over 1st, last and security to the land lord even though he had the money. There was a large "over payment" in the amount of [redacted] that I requested be returned to me. [redacted] then decided he was going to charge me a "finders fee" this was never told to me and I never agreed to paying such a fee. [redacted] also charged this same fee to the land lord. As of now [redacted] has over [redacted] that does not belong to him. He refuses to give receipts or explanations for the location of any money. This company also tells land lords they do a full credit and background check of potential tenants. This is not true , the owner [redacted] told me himself he does not do any checks but tells the land lord he does. I never even showed my ID to them. I filled out a simple application. I could have used a fake name and social security number and no one would ever know. Not only does this company scam people looking for apartments but they also scam lorDesired SettlementI want all the money that was not paid to the land lord as 1st, last, and security returned to me. I also want to purse further legal action for the harassment and verbal assault. I would like to see this company stop scamming people. [redacted] came to my company to place her in an apartment.we showed her a few available listings (available units). She was under distress due to her homelessness and being pregnant with child. Her behavior was understood clearly but I had to do the right thing. She got funds to place her in an apartment by a charity. She asked me that if there were any available funds left over I stated there seemed to be. She asked if she can have it to spend on her self I said I don't see why not.I told her if she didn't mind if I contacted the charity that supported her with the funds to allow me to do so. At that very moment she flipped out and got very disrespectful like ive never seen before. But due to my study of sociology of human behavior and my degree I understood clearly its because of her hormones and very tight financial situation. But I have a business structure to follow I stated. [redacted] then replied "I WILL BRING YOUR STUPID COMPANY DOWN HOW EVER I CAN" To conclude her statement is false. The funds she stated that was not returned to her in fact was a charity fund that needed to be returned. So other individuals in her position can get help financially for housing placement in the future
