My name is Barry M*** and I am the sole owner of Quality Oil CoLLC My Business is heating oil and have been in business for years. I will explain to the best of my knowledge what had happened the day of the complaint. The customer called our
office to place an order for Home heating oilShe explained she was out of oil and needed a delivery that day. The morning she called a snowstorm was already underway and our drivers were instructed to stay home due to the storm. My secretary told her the charge for and emergency delivery which is an additional One hundred and five dollars to any oil delivered. She expressed her anger by swearing repeatedly using the F word and said she would like a delivery and to charge her credit card on file. I myself attempted to deliver during the storm when I met her husband outside of the house while she was on her phone standing outside alsoThe husband said to me we are all setI asked what do you mean all setHe then repeatedly said were all setI told him we are charging for the delivery because I came out. I left the house without making a delivery and returned to my officeWhen I arrived at my office a different secretary was on the phone as she was trying to get my attention by pointing at the phone. The customer who was then trying to cancel the order when in fact I was already at the house and she was telling the secretary nobody had come outShe was obviously lying and my guess trying to avoid any delivery charge. That secretary told me the customer told her to go F herself and hung up. Both secretaries explained to me they could not get a word in to this lady. She was a past customer for many years and we have waived fees occasionally for such customers That is what one secretary told me she was trying to explain to her but the customer was swearing at her and would not let her talk according to my secretary. I charge her credit card a deposit of five hundred dollars before the attempted delivery and refunded the whole amount when I returned to the office regardless of what I told her husband when I was at the house. I believe this was handled as professional as possible with no cost to customer. Please disregard her complaint. Barry M*** ***
