I had a fantastic experience with Quality Piano Moving! First they responded so quickly to my initial email at their website which was important because I had a sudden need to move my piano! I was given clear information about their availability, an estimate, and they tried to work with me and my schedule They ended up squeezing me in and I got my piano moved in time I was also given a window of time that they would arrive to move the piano and that I would be given a shorter 2-hour window the day before All of this happened as they said, and the movers showed up within the window and had my piano moved in no time The movers were friendly and accommodating, they clearly knew what they were doing, and made it look easy I knew my piano was in good hands and that is a great feeling! I would highly recommend this company to anyone!

At first I contemplated thinking I was going to get regular movers when I called Quality I was wrong the piano movers were super knowledgeable about pianos like I have ever experienced before not even in New york when I lived their Jay was very punctual about the in and outs of the piano even showed me its origin and gave me very valuable side information for the life of the pianoOverall I would have to say I am glad I called these piano moversI would recommend them anyone with a high end piano

Wow! "Regular" movers said they'd move the piano down the stairs, but declined when they saw the steep stairs with a sharp turn at the topWe were frantic - had to get the piano out and drive to Nebraska the next dayI called Quality Piano Moving, who assured me they could move it, "no problem." A team of great guys came out the next morning, very professional, moved the piano with ease and grace It was a pleasure to watch them!

When I contacted Quality Piano Moving, they responded the same dayAfter providing the type and size of piano, address for pick up and drop off, and number and type of staircases, I was given a quoteThe quote was reasonable for the service, and they were able to come just a few days laterThree professional movers showed up on time and treated my piano very gentlyThey had paperwork for me to sign and I paid by checkThey even gave me advice on tuning, & the best wall on which to place it

I initially had a positive experience with the manager, Joe, until the day my piano was scheduled for delivery. On delivery day, Joe wasn't answering his phone calls, nor anyone else in their office. The previous day, Joe had given me a two hour window between (10:00 am-12:00 pm.) He said that their company would call about 1 hr before the delivery to give us the heads up they were on the way. The next day at 11:00 am, the seller of the piano started calling me asking if I had heard yet from the piano deliverers. I hadn't, so I started my initial calls to the office. No answer, I kept going straight to voicemail. I tried calling multiple times in hopes that someone would pick up, but I kept going to voicemail. After a while, the seller started getting more upset as she had to leave for her job soon. At this point, I had tried calling the piano movers several times, but still no answer. I was also surprised that no one from their office had called me yet to say if they were on their way, or behind schedule. Just before noon, I finally received a call from one of the drivers saying he was just heading out to the owners' home which was a half hour away. I asked why I hadn't received an earlier call, and he said that their instructions were to deliver between 12:00-2:00 pm so he thought they were still on schedule. I said I was given an earlier time frame from Joe. He said it was not in their control, and that I have to talk to Joe directly since he is their Store Manager. I said I had called multiple times, but that he hadn't called me back yet. Ultimately, the drivers showed up at my house at around 1:15 pm and I asked the driver if he would contact Joe directly on his cell phone to question why I hadn't heard anything about their delay. What happened next completely took me by surprise. What I thought would be a simple explanation from Joe about the time mixup (and maybe an apology?) turned into him yelling so loudly at me that his drivers both told me they heard the entire conversation and apologized for their bosses' rudeness to me! When I questioned Joe why their office couldn't give me the heads up about the delivery delay, he started yelling at me immediately and cutting me off while I was trying to speak. He said.."what time did the driver call you?" and "what time did they arrive?" I answered him, and reminded him of the timeframe he had given me. He used the excuse of traffic, and I said a courtesy call would have been nice, not only for myself, but for the piano seller too. He then yelled louder and said that I was trying to "hold him hostage" with my money, and that he wouldn't give me my piano unless I paid them! I said I never threatened not to pay them, all I want is an explanation and common courtesy. I kept asking him to slow down and stop yelling at me, but he went completely out of control. He was completely defensive and throwing wild accusations that I never even said. He yelled that he has employees to pay, they have overhead costs, and on and on about all the expenses they have and they are a moving company, and I should just know "to expect" to have delays! I said a proper moving company could have given me the courtesy of a phone call. I have never been so insulted by a company before! Buyers beware.....there are multiple other piano moving companies out there. Joe clearly has an anger issue so be on your guard with him!
