I have a 1993 sc 300 that I took to be repaired because of a electrical issue that caused the car to not start, signal and sterio will not work I had my sc300 towed to quality plus automotive to be repaired. they called 2 days later and said it was the ecu they charged me a 200 dollar diagnosis fee and almost 600 dollars for a used ecu which normaly cost 300 and when I picked the car up I asked if I could test drive before paying. they insisted that I pay first. I payed them got in the car and drove to the nearest gas station which was the bp. when I got there the car shuts off so I waited for my father and started it again it started now the radio and signal and car was okay when I left thier shop but as soon as I get home 30 mins later it was a reck. the signal wouldnt come on the radio and the car starts and shuts itself off. so I called them and he acted as if it was my problem. so I went to the shop and they continue to act as if thier not responsible and the part of which they dianosed it with supposedly have a 6 month warranty. I think it was a improper dianosis just to receive the funds. After diagnosing the cause of the no start Mr [redacted] was called and explained the charge to get the vehicle running and he agreeded on the repair. Once we got vehicle running we could not test drive because there were no license tags or insurance. WE pulled vehicle in and out of our shop for three weeks until he was able to come and pick it up. At the time he picked it up we explained how we could not drive it for other problems and there were lots of other problems. He did call back the next day and said if would cut off at the stop light but restart. I told him to bring it back and we would check for any other problems. Mr [redacted] assumed that every running problem was fixed because of the 900.00 he spent on the cranking problem. I explained to him he had lots of problems with this vehicle and it was not worth spending any more money on the vehicle and it was best to get rid of vehicle and start over. He and his mechanic who come with him agreed that was what he was going to do. Last Wednesday he called me and threaten me on the phone because now the battery is going dead. He did come by Thursday and the service advisor explained to him oil was leaking in the alternator and causing this problem. We have tried to help this young man but he will not listen to what our advise is about this car. We do not want him back on our property because he does pose a threat to my employees. I am faxing paper work. A copy of our bill to him and home much we paid for ecu from salvage yard. He give incorrect information on that and as for the test drive I didn't want him to leave the building until I got paid incase of wreck no tags or insurance on vehicle. They charged me 10 dollars in gas when my car had a half of tank. If a part has a warranty why not take it back.
