[redacted]  hung up when  trying to explain the situation to him.  On 12/16/16  we received a service call  from STI, [redacted], Madison Heights stating his equipment needed a battery replaced but could not provide a model or serial, work order [redacted] was opened....

 The technician  went out on to see what type unit needed a battery and to replace the  battery, the customer didn’t want the battery replaced at that time and wanted a quote sent.    The technician held the invoice open so when the quote was approved he would complete the job.  When the quote was approved the parts department opened another work order, [redacted],  to put the battery on, they didn’t check to see if a work order was already open. The original wasn’t closed until 1/28/17 when it was found to be still open but the quoted work done on the second invoice.   The customer legitimately owes the $99 on [redacted] which is why the credit card was ran.  As soon as the receipt was sent [redacted] called to inquire about being charged. The decision was made to refund the $99 to the credit card due to the quoted work being done.
