To Whom It May Concern,This refund has been denied by Quark for the reasons listed below:Customer purchased [redacted] in April of under a Pre-Order discountThe customer received a discount on upgrading from [redacted] to 2017, before was released.The customer made a choice to purchase a version that had not been released in order to receive a discount, instead of waiting to test the software and pay full price once the software had been officially releasedWe started working on resolving the customer’s technical issue on September 25, 2017.A solution was provided, which was to .docx file, to which the customer said he did not like the solution providedThe customer is upset that [redacted] does not accept a file that was created in Word The customer is trying to use two pieces of software that are roughly years different.The customer felt that using his previous version ( [redacted] 2016) would resolve the issue, however it was not working on his computer.Quark Tech Support assisted the customer with getting [redacted] running on his computerAt this point the customer requested a refund as he felt betrayed by QuarkThe customer called again and said he was going to file a complain with the Revdex.com.The customer was provided an additional solution from [redacted] to download a compatibility pack which would allow the customer to save .doc files as .docx from within [redacted] ***We did not receive a response from the customer.At this time this refund cannot be approved as the customer purchased a pre-order product, without testing itHe was aware that he had not tested the software to run in his environment prior to making the purchase, therefore must be willing to assume the risk associated with the purchaseAlso, we have provided the customer with two options for resolving this issueIf you need any additional information please let me know.Thank you, [redacted]
