February 11, 2016To Whom It May Concern,This letter is in response to a current resident’s complaintQueen Anne Park Apartments takes pride in its apartment homes because we are able to offer affordable and spacious housing to our community.As evidenced by the complaint, the resident previously
lived in Queen Anne Park Apartments in She left the complex without proper notice and owing moneyThese funds were eventually collectedTrying to be sympathetic and accommodating, Queen Anne allowed the resident to move back into the complex five years after her initial occupancyNow, six years later she lists complaints that allegedly occurred during her original occupancyThere is no possible way for Queen Anne to respond to those unfounded and stale allegationsBut, what is known is that the resident, even with her alleged complaints, felt comfortable enough to re-apply to move back into the complex.We rent to applicants that qualifyIf the complaining resident has been a witness to illegal activity at a bus stop, we would recommend that she contact the police and inform the office as soon as possibleUnfortunately, prior to this letter, we have not been made aware of any alleged incident.The resident has not submitted a service request or informed the office that she has any problems with her windows or doorsOur records do show that when the resident submitted a service request, it was completed within hours.We also were not aware that the resident dealt with a rude life guard at the pool, Again, this is an unfounded and stale allegation that occurred during the summer monthsNonetheless, if we were made aware of it at the time, we would have immediately contacted the pool sendee company to rectify the problem*We charge rent based on the size of the apartment, not locationWhen choosing to live in an apartment, an applicant has an option of which floor they would like to live on.The majority of the complaint deals with a historic snow storm that ravaged the areaFederal, state, local jurisdictions, businesses and offices were closed for an unprecedented period of time after the stormWe employed a company to plow the snow and make the complex accessibleAll of our resources, including our employees, were employed to make our complex accessible in a timely manner.If the complaining resident is unhappy with her living situation, Queen Anne Park Apartments will allow her to vacate her unit upon thirty days written noticeThere will be no charges for breaking her leaseHowever, Queen Anne Park Apartments reserves the right to charge for damages beyond wear and tear.In the future, we ask that the resident inform the management office of any concerns or complaints as soon as possible so that we can resolve them in a timely fashionShe can reach the office at ***,Sincerely,Charlotte MRegional Property Manager
