03/11/2016Dear *** ***,*** *** purchased the used Ford *** on 02/29/Prior to purchasing the *** *** *** first inspected the vehicle on 02/15/On that day he stated he was interested in purchasing the vehicle and we started the process with the dealership running a
credit report to find a lender to finance the saleWithin the next days *** *** came back to the dealership looking over the vehicle and actually went on a minute test drive with his wife on a Saturday morning with our salesman*** *** brought no issues or concerns to our salesman attention at that time.*** *** picked up vehicle on 02/29/and had no issues with vehicleOn 03/02/*** *** called our service department and said that the tires on the *** are not load Range EHe also stated that he was going to use the vehicle for hauling and the tires are only Load Range C on the vehicleOur service department told him that he would have to talk to the salesman about this issue because the dealership did not install tires on this used vehicleThe dealership received the vehicle with those tires installed by previous ownerCustomer came down to dealership on 03/02/to verify tire concernVehicle had the correct size tires but the Load Range was not E.On 03/03/Pat & Dan's Delbalso Ford agreed to put Load Range E tires on for customer in exchange for the tires that were on vehicleOur parts department called our tire distributor with the size and type tire which is *** Tire in KingstonThe owner *** of * * * Tire recommended *** tires which are made by ***He said he had great response front customers and he had no issues with these tiresHe said he had to special order tires and would take a few days to receive.*** *** called our service department on 03/04/and inquired about what type tires were ordered for his vehicle which we gladly gave him*** *** had an appointment scheduled for 03/07/He called our service department and said he was not coming in for tires because *** Tires are not acceptable and he wanted a name brand tire installedThe last time checked *** Tire is a name brand tire company** *** proceed to call our salesman up and was very nasty to him and also had his brother call the salesman and was very demanding and nasty also.We feel we have addressed his original concern about the Load Range in a timely mannerWe have the *** tires in stock and are willing to install them at no cost to the customerWe also offered *** *** the option to pay the difference to put what tires he prefers on or the tires which we are offering to install free of charge in exchange for the tires presently on vehicle.We feel *** *** is being unreasonable and we have made a fair and reasonable offer to resolve this concernFeel free to contact me if you have any further question.Regards,Rick S.Service Manager
