From the moment I walked in I was treated rudely by the young girl doing my nails, who I believe runs their *** account, and from previous reviews I guess is the ***. So if people are booking online, watch out shes beyond rude. They didn't have any of the light pink colours that I wanted, I had to pick four different times because she kept coming back saying "we don't have it, pick something else." I eventually picked a colour and when I saw it being applied I stopped her and said I didn't like it. She then stood up and yelled in my face saying "THIS IS A SERVICE, YOU HAVE TO PAY, YOU PICKED IT!" I told her I understood that and that I would pay, but that I wanted it removed. She then aggressively grabbed my hand and hurt me and said "since your paying you might as well let me finish, I'm not taking it off, we close at 7 and I want to leave!" I was scared and very uncomfortable, no one else in the salon came over or even seemed to care that their customer was just yelled at and ***. The rest of my service was done in silence. When I left I felt super shaken and very upset and felt like I had been disserviced and ***. FINALLY to top it off when I went home to bed I turned the lights off and my nails were GLOWING!! NEVER did she tell me the pink she applied was glow in the dark. She asked me three times if I wanted it and all three times I said NO it's for my engagement party. She did it anyways, and I should have guessed she would try to do something like that cause she kept getting up and walking to the back room for nail polish.
In response to the letter that I received today from the ***, first of all we have not received any letter or email concerning this complaint filed by ***. in which was submitted on 11/6/2019. To clarify this issues, this customer came late to her appointment but we still took her in. She said we treated her rudely from the moment she walks in is ridiculous. If that were true any customers would have walked away period, there’s no need to go further. We’re a family run business in Vanier for over 14 years since we have opened. We have the rights to refused services to anyone, that doesn’t mean we would tolerate customers’ rudeness. This customer said the technician grabbed her hand and hurt her is what baffles me, we are not violent nor would we act aggressively towards any individuals who has step foot into our salon. You are smearing our public image by making false statements which affects our business. Should we also filed a complaint against you for false statements and lies. If every customer received a 2 hour services done and complained about the service afterward and demanded a refund then no business would stay in business. You have stayed for the 2 hour nail appointment which means you agreed to pay for the services you had received. If however you are not satisfied with the service, you are welcome to go elsewhere. We try to accommodate each and every customer that walked into our salon. And if you are not satisfied then try another salon. You are asking a refund for the 2 hour services you had received is beyond my understanding. This is not a department store. You don’t know the technician that did your nails but have false assumptions against her. We’re also human but we would not stay put and let you treat us any less than what we should be treated. We have been in this business for over 14 years, we have our regulars and we treat them equally and we expect the same in return. Other customers who has been refused services can go elsewhere. If you were scared, shaken and assaulted like you had claimed you would file a police report. You wont be the first to smear our public image nor would you be the last. Customers can say whatever they want about our business but it doesn’t mean they’re stating the truth. Please don’t exaggerate/fabricate your side of the story.
