The customer [redacted] gave us authorization to repair her pathfinder and signed everything. She made an agreement with us to fix the car and go over it with her insurance company. We went the extra...

mile for her by saved her deductible of $1000 dollars and replacing the rear bumper for her FREE of charge and provided our company credit card as a deposit for her car rental. After she found out that the insurance company was paying us $4172.07 after her deductible, she then decided that she no longer wanted to repair the vehicle. We had already had a contract signed by her giving us authorization to repair her vehicle. On the date the repairs were completed as promised to [redacted] she came to pick up the car when we found out that she had cancelled the payment for the vehicle and was still trying to pick up the car and keep her new check. That's as far as we got on Saturday May **, 2014.

Review: I got into an accident on February [redacted], 2016, (two blocks away Queens Finest Auto Body). I called 105 PCT to make a police report and Queens Finest Auto Body showed up and said not to drive the car and he said he will tow the car back to the shop and that they work with State Farm Insurance. Anthony said that he will take the car around the block to put it on the tow truck while I was giving my statement to the cops. I did not see my car on a tow truck, I think that the car was driven back to the shop. I asked Queens Finest Auto Body to release my car since they do not work with my insurance company. Anthony refuses to release my car. I asked him to let me know of any fees (storage and towing) that I needed to pay. He keeps telling me that it is a lot of fees and he does not know how much it would cost. They do not want to release my car because I would not let him get the job from the insurance company. I just want to pay any fees associated and get my car out of their shop. I did not sign any agreement with Queens Finest Auto Body.Desired Settlement: I would like for my car to be released from their possession.

At this time, I have not been contacted by Queens Finest Auto Body regarding complaint ID [redacted]. My insurance company got involved and took the car out of their shop, however I have witnessed this happened to others as well. Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: I was involved in a car accident on November *, 2014. I called the police to fill out a report and they recommended this company, Queens Finest Auto Body (QFAB), to tow and repair my car, then called them on to the scene. My car was towed from the scene of the accident (the intersection of [redacted]) to QFAB's garage at their address. The car was parked inside the garage and I was given a ride home. On November **, 2014, a parking ticket was issued to my car for being parked on the street without a license plate, even though the plate was showing out of the window. The contact from the garage, [redacted], told me that QFAB would pay the violation. When I decided to have my usual mechanic take the car and do the repairs instead, QFAB apparently decided that they would no longer pay the violation. I contacted [redacted] and asked when the ticket would be paid and he told me to write a letter to the police explaining the situation. When I told him that I should not have to be involved with it since the ticket was incurred through QFAB, he became belligerent. The ticket is in the amount of $65.00 and is due to be paid by 12/**/14. A copy of the violation notice is enclosed. Please investigate and help me to resolve this matter.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.Desired Settlement: QFAB should pay the parking ticket and any other fees incurred because of it.

Review: Dear Sir or Madam; My car is at this body shop called : Queens finest auto body, I had signed some paper work regarding an estimate for my vehicle. I was waiting for my insurance company to contact me and give me an estimate. I then called the body shop told them not to do anything on the car until I call them and tell them ok. I also asked for a copy of the paper work and they refuse to give me a copy. As per the [redacted] he wants me to come to the shop with cops and $5000 to a copy of the paper and my car that they are telling that they are working on without me giving them an ok to work on the car. The [redacted] keep insisting that he will finish the car by the end of this week . And I don't want that. He refuses to give me a copy of the paper work I signed and stated that I have one, but they never gave me one. Now they are giving me a hard time.I have contacted them several time in a professional manner and the [redacted] started to curse at me with foul languages. please help.[redacted]Desired Settlement: I just need my car back without any problems. I have tried talking to them it did not help.
