I specifically ask the sales man are you going to submit my information to different banks he said no seeing that there was no deal made on the car or a price because the car had to be repared mechanically he said to me there is not price on the car so we cannot submit this application to any banks asking for finance I agreed that it was the plan not to submit my application he then ran my credit to see my score he told me they advise customers to place a $500 deposit to hold the vehicle so it isnt on the market for sale I agreed as I was interested in the car I place the money down and a few wekks passed I started getting mails that I applied for financing when I knew nothing about the price of the car whether it was finished no one called me and informed me that I was applying for financing I had plans to get a personal loan and pay for the car instead which I also told the salesman that I dont plan on financing so please do not submit my application to different banks I call and pleaded with them to stop using my information because I am now being denied for everything I apply for financially because of the many hard inquiries I now have on my reportDesired Settlement: I would like this dealership to stop using my information and submitting it to banks

Review: Prior to purchase I notified Sales team and [redacted] that one of the TV's did not work. I purchase the car and was given only one remote key by [redacted] and told they needed to locate the other one? That was Sept 2014. Now April 2015 there has been constant turn over and I have neither key nor working TV. Suddenly they are now looking for a form and now they have no record of my issue. I have saved all the Text messages from old [redacted] ([redacted] is gone). New person [redacted] said he feels he is not responcible since it has been so long and suggest I use warrentee I purchased separately but wouldn't the be insurance fraud since it was broken before I purchase it? They also had the nerve to say the remote is expensive around 400? Really, no kidding so buy me one....Desired Settlement: TV system to be fixed and new remote.

Response:

We are sorry the customer is having an issue and there may have been some miscommunication between staff members. We are willing to fix the car but we need the customer to bring the car to us. We are more than happy to set up a time for the customer to bring the car in for repair.

Review: I bought a BMW from this used car dealership. They advertised it for $14,977.00. When I went to buy it for that price they told me that price was with a $2,500.00 deposit or trade in worth $2,500.00. This is a bat-n-Switch tactic illegal in the state of NY. I agreed to pay the extra money if they would fix certain things I had issues with and they agreed. I made a list: 1. replace insulation under hood that was falling down. 2. replace missing bolts on top of engine. 3. replace cented hubs on all four wheels. 4. fix weatherstrip, drafty sound coming from sunroof. 5. adjust headlights. 6. fix tinting on drivers side rear window 7. balance or align tires. After putting a deposit on the car I was called three times the following week by [redacted] telling me that everything was done and I could come and pick up the car. I said are you sure? He said he got the heads up that it was ready to go from his mechanic [redacted]. When I went to pick up the car I found that absolutely nothing had been done and the battery was dead. I refused to take delivery. Suddenly the bolts appeared for the top of the engine and the center hubs for the wheels and they replaced the battery. I asked what about everything else on the list. [redacted] told me to take the car and bring it back at my convenience. That was in November nothing has been fixed and since then they have tried to fix an oil leak four times. When driving this car my eyes tear and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. They have had my car in their shop some five weeks as of March. I took it to Florida where it died n Delaware at 3:15 in the morning at 13 degrees outside. Now with all the recent rain the unrepaired sunroof "draft" I was promised is leaving inches of water on the floor in the car. I asked both the salesman and the mechanic what they planned to do they both told me they'd get back to me and never did. I asked for all the work orders five weeks ago as required to file a Lemon Law claim they make excuses. I have not received one.Desired Settlement: Give me my money back. This car has been nothing but problems. Since purchasing this car I was told by there outside mechanic, [redacted] of [redacted] that the smell in the car that is causing eye and nose irritation is coming from a bad radiator and that yes you also have an oil leak. If that wasn't enough the transmission makes noise and so does the blower motor. I have lost so much in time and inconvenience because of this companies inability to fix problems agreed to be fixed and warranty issues.

Response:

To whom it may concern,

Point 1- The prices of [redacted] vehicle was listed on our website. The price was also told to [redacted] before she agreed to purchase the vehicle, and she agreed to the price. There was no 'Bait and Switch'.

Point 2- The vehicle was ready for delivery, and there were a couple of items that were written on a we-owe and given to her.

Point 3- [redacted]'s was contacted by [redacted] our [redacted] to bring her vehicle in several times, to no avail.

Point 4 It is our opinion that they do not have a lemon law claim, the vehicle did not come in for the same thing, it is true that there have been a few different things happen to their vehicle but we stand behind our vehicles and are willing to repair it.

point 4- We would also be willing to take their vehicle in on trade, and put them into another vehicle if that would work for them.

Please feel free to call if you need any more information ###-###-####

Thanks

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Enclosed please find my Lemon Law Compliant and the ad [redacted] put in Auto Trader for my car. As you can see the ad states $14,977.00 and as with the previous ad in [redacted] there is no statement of a deposit or trade in. Also both ads claim that my car has a leather interior which it does not have.

[redacted],

I discussed the problems with the [redacted], [redacted]. We made a list and he agreed to take care of everything on that list. He now has the car in his possession and I am looking forward to a resolution to these issues. I do not have [redacted]'s email address so am sending the list to the salesman who sold me the car, [redacted] to forward it to [redacted]:

[redacted],

Can you forward the following list to [redacted]? I do not have his email address and we went over this list to some degree last week. I brought the car in and hope you guy's can take care of these things so I can be a happy customer.

Thank you,

1. The moon roof still makes a loud drafty sound which is louder when closed than it is when tilted open. It leaked water and the car reeks of mold. (promised to be fixed but never was)

2. The tinted window was never tinted. (Driver's side rear) (promised to be fixed but never was)

3. At least two screws are missing from the valve cover after I got the car back the last time it was in your shop. (Fixed twice)

4. The oil leaking all over my driveway. (fixed four times)

5. The transmission makes noise in first, second and third gears during acceleration,

6. The car moves left and right when traveling 60 MPH or better, it does not drive straight.

7. There is now some gooey tar stuff that seems to have gotten on the moon roof from something inside the car roof.

8. Pressure testing the radiator (Your mechanic [redacted], said it is leaking). (smelling since I bought the car never diagnosed until [redacted] noticed it)

9. The hesitation when accelerating from a stopped position. (since getting it back after the last repair when the car died completely)

10. The blower motor makes noise on low (fixed once)

To Whom it may concern,

Please advise [redacted] he may once again come in and see me between the hours of 11am-5:30pm. Once again we will try to satisfy this customer. He must realize he did not purchase a new vehicle and as a preowned vehicle he can not expect it to feel or sound like a new vehicle. Not all of his concerns will be addressed, but we will make every effort to make him happy.

Review: I bought a 2011 CERTIFIED pre owned BMW 328i X drive from Long Island Auto find April **, 2015 and was told the car was certified, had new brakes, a recent tune up, and oil change. In the barely 7 months and barely 10,000 miles I've owned the car I've had to replace front, and rear brakes, all four tires they were found to be damaged and had bubbles on ALL of them. Then most recently the check engine light came on so I brought it to my mechanic who informed me it had a major issue of a valve cover gasket leaking in cylinder 4. This was very costly, and left me with out a car the entire weekend, and I also had to miss two days of work due to not having transportation. The mechanic said that no way this car was certified it's in very poor shape and they took advantage of me. I did contact Long Island Auto find about them resolving these issues and they refused to help in any way and were very nasty to me. So far my credit cards are maxed out to the tune of $2600.00 I've spent on repairs JUST THIS MONTH! and also it cost me two days worth of pay. Also at the time of purchase I was given a copy of the carfax that stated it was clear, and when I was getting car insurance they told me that it is NOT a clear carfax. This car is a lemon and this business should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of people.Desired Settlement: I would like Long Island Auto to take back this car, give me a full refund of the purchase price, as well as the $2500.00 extended warranty I purchased, and a refund of the $2600.00 in repairs I had to make.

Review: I traveled from [redacted] to [redacted] in search of a vehicle. I found a Gray 2008 Mercedes Benz c300 4matic online for the advertised price of $14,500. when I got to the dealership the salesperson Angelica helped me. When I sat down with another sale person Tony he sold it to me for $17,000. I was confused because the online price said $14,500. Finally after an hour of dispute sales person Tony F[redacted] dropped it down to $15,743.76, I agreed to the loan and took off with my used vehicle with temporary plates valid for 30 days on 4/**/15. 3 weeks later I called the dealership for my registration and plates, they said they haven't received anything yet. I called and called the dealership and nothing. Was transferred about 4 times to different people then to a voicemail. Never got a call back. I felt like I was stalking the place for my property. I called my loan bank which is [redacted] to find out why I haven't received my welcome package by mail and they told me unfortunately they had to reject my car loan because [redacted] Dealership sold me a salvage car and they don't approve loans for a salvaged title. [redacted] never contacted me to tell me anything and never mentioned that the car I was buying is salvage. I had to do all the investigation. So I had to return the vehicle and I did on 5/**/15. Thought everything was all set. To my surprise On 6/**/15 I received a notice from [redacted]-failure to obtain inspection cert. for 08 Benz with plate# I was never told the vehicle was actually registered. Ive been getting charged car taxes on this vehicle for a month and a half that I've never had. I contacted Jimmy the owner about returning the plates and registration asap back to **. All he asked was Do I have the title. I said NO, obviously the bank had the title because its a loan. He failed to return my calls and texts. I filed a police report in ** and had the plates cancelled. Now I also see they go by the name of Quick Cash Auto. This place is shadyDesired Settlement: I don't want to be contacted by the business any longer. All I want is a refund for the car taxes that I will be charged for the 2008 Mercedes Benz c300 vehicle in ** for the year 2015. And wouldn't want anybody to go through all the aggravation I went through while buying your dream car. This was a nightmare. [redacted] is very unprofessional and I'm highly disappointed in them. I will never buy a car in [redacted] ever again.

I never got the title to the vehicle. This car was financed. I never got the title, the bank did. Once the bank found out [redacted] sold me a salvage car they rejected the loan and sent everything back to them. Why would [redacted] give me a full refund if they thought I still have the title?! [redacted] or should I say Quick Cash Auto is so unprofessional and so unorganized.

I returned the vehicle to you in May. You finally sent me my plates and registration after 2 months. If it wasn't for this complaint nothing would have been done. I've called and texted you several times to Please release my plates to me or return them to [redacted] so it can be canceled. Instead you didn't return my calls. This 2008 Mercedes Benz is still listed as my property when it's Not. You've been holding on to my plates and registration all this time for nothing. Car taxes are accumulating here in [redacted]. I shouldn't be held responsible paying car taxes on this vehicle because of your error, because of the lack of interest you have in helping your customers finish the transaction. I want to be reimbursed since the time you've been holding on to my plates til the day u returned them, which is: May2015 to July2015

Review: In January of 2015, I purchased a 2009 Cadillac Escalade that was advertised with 56,500 miles. Now, when I asked for the car fax, the sales representative gave me a copy that showed a warning (Odometer Roll Back) so I asked him about it and he informed me that the dealership contacted Carfax and they told the dealership it was a clerical error and it was being cleared up but it takes a while. I purchased the car because the dealership assured me they have done the due diligence. On February [redacted] 2016, I attempted to trade the car in to lease a brand new one and the dealer at kristal auto mall informed me that the warning came up and that Long Island Auto find lied to me and that my car wasn't even worth $12,000 whole sale becasue there is no way to determine the actual mileage and they robbed me for $38,000+. Two weeks into having the car I had to have the car towed from brooklyn all the way to Long Island because everything int he car broke down! The suspension went, the Car died completely!!!Desired Settlement: I need the dealership to cancel this contract and take their car back with a refund of $10,000.00 to me.

Review: I purchased my care on 5.**, the car was bought back to the dealer as there was a list of over 15 repairs that needed to be completed. Not to mention the day I purchased the car I could not leave with the vehicle. I was driving not even a block away and the car began to tremble. I was asked to leave the car that I just signed the bill of sale for and a warped roter had to be repaired. I picked the car up the following day and less thatn 48 hours the car had to be returned with over 15 repairs needing to be completed. As of today I still have not received my car back it is 5.**.15. I am going to pay for a car that I have not had for more thatn 48 hours. I was provded with a 14 year old loaner car with no air condition and I have two toddlers who suffer from allergies.Desired Settlement: I want to be reimbursed for the amount of days the care was there . My monthly payment is $359. I want the dealer to divide the amount of days from the payment and provide me with a refund. I want the car with all the repairs completed immediatly or I do not want the car.

Review: I purchased a vehicle on May ** 2015 from [redacted] and left the dealer with a temporary tag. I was told by the salesman at the time of the deal that I would receive tags and a valid registration in a week or two. My temporary tag expired on June ** 2015. I tried contacting the motor vehicle department at the dealer numerous times and left several voicemails and never heard anything back. I was in contact with the general manager and was told I would have them in a few days. After two weeks of talking to the general manager and being told I'd have them in a few days I still have yet to receive my registration and tags.Desired Settlement: To receive valid tags and registration

Review: Purchase a 2010 Land Rover Range Rover HSE on November [redacted], 2015. Didn't get the vehicle till the [redacted]. By then I was told I had to return the vehicle to have the left headlight changed and back tires. The first problem I notice it keep saying on the dashboard "GEAR BOX FAULT". Return the vehicle about/around 11/**/2015 they had me signed new papers regarding the vehicle bc something was wrong, by then they had they car for about 4 days. After picking up the vehicle, I notice the same notice keep coming on the dash board, "GEAR BOX FAULT' n "PARKING BREAK FAULT."

Then I one day I needed heat, I realized the vehicle had no heat and the vehicle keep doing a funny thing while driving so I called them and take the car in for repairs. for another couple days they repaired the no heat and they claim stalling and no turning on stopped but it kept getting worst.

About/around 12/**/15 I was on my way to the airport when I try to turn the heat on and I thought I was about to take off the vehicle sounded like a helicopter ready to go, I was so scared in the middle of the street I stopped and put the vehicle in park and for the next 3 hours in the rain the vehicle refused to go. Called my sales rep whom is always pleasant and easy to speak to advised me to take it to the shop to have a look and let them try repairing the issues he then stated to write down all the issues I then spoke to a General Manager Jim who said they'll make final attempts to repair before changing.

Brought the vehicle in on/around the 12/**/2015 didn't hear anything till about the 24 I was told everything was fixed and working correctly, while transferring my christmas shopping back to the vehicle I notice the push start button was broken when I spoke to the head mechanic he told me I bought it to them like that I was pissed. I was told by the mechanic he guaranteed the issue was fixed and it won't happen again. HAHA, I shut the vehicle off bc I was wondering how is it going to start with the button portion of the start button broken. I try starting the car the car wouldn't start I called the mechanic to come start it for me nothing I have to leave it, all through christmas and the new year I had no car. Finally got the vehicle around the 1/**/2016 on the Saturday 1/**/2016 I visited a friend for about 2/3 hours when I was ready to go home the car would not go into gear. Spoke to my sales rep who spoke to the General Manager again who claim they are going to take it to Range Rover this time, so the promise he made is not good.

1/**/2016 took the car back, got a rental still not upset just keep going around in circles with these people. after they found the issues they finally brought it to Range Rover who claim they don't know what the real problem is bc their computer can't pick it up. Really now,One person said they think its the transmutation but they're not sure bc the computer didn't give a reading they're not sure. Range Rover kept the vehicle for almost 3weeks and I got the vehicle back on/around 2/**/2016 with a written letter requested by me that anything else they will take it back. on the 2/**/2016 while on my way to church I wasn't allowed to drive past 30 miles and I was been bounce up and down, took a photo and called my sales rep again who spoke to the manager to return the vehicle for a next vehicle.

Within 3 days I was stalled in the cold in Manhattan with my baby and aunt, my aunt swear never to enter the vehicle, I was still looking at suitable vehicles but was told I was only getting back a portion of the purchase price and I would have to add the balance to the vehicle I was picking.

I can't see this been reasonable as you sold me a faulted vehicle, I don't believe this is right to be carrying the price of a new vehicle and the balance the refused to pay I should. I have made 3 payments, 2@$700 and 1@$653.00 my payments are $652.49 and was told they would refund me a payment. When I read the Lemon Law or the Revdex.com it has stated they have to buy the car back at full price. the balance is $36'000 plus but was told they are only paying me $31'000 bc the car only value x value that shouldn't be my fault. When you're in business you win come and loose some and the consumer should not be loosing for a bad car sold to them.Desired Settlement: For them to take full responsibility off the Full amount and charge me what the new vehicle values.

Response:

Reference to complaint ID [redacted], the dealer have not responded but after a promise from Jim the General to take the car back and give me another they actually did. Im not complete satisfied with the result but it was dealt with in a respectful manner where I know they didn't do they're best but I'm pleased to move on and continue with no more hassle. My sale rep Steve was great as always and very respectful. The resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Review: THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE WORST DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!! THEY RIPPED ME OFF AND WILL NOT ANSWER CALLS. I BOUGHT AN 07 [redacted]. THEY SAID THAT EVERYTHING WAS IN EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITION. IT WAS NOT! I HAD TO CALL THEM OVER AND OVER TO FIX THE CAR, DROPPING IT OFF SEVERAL TIMES (30 MILES ONE WAY) AND WHEN I PICKED IT UP, THE SAME PROBLEMS!!! THEY FINALLY SENT IT OVER TO [redacted], WHO WERE GREAT, BUT MY "EXTENDED WARRANTY" THAT I PURCHASED, DID NOT COVER THE OVER $2,000.00 IT NEEDED TO BE FIXED!!! I HAVE BEEN TRYING AND TRYING TO CONTACT MIKE THE SERVICE MANAGER, WHICH THE SECRETARY GAVE ME HIS CELL PHONE NUMBER, TO PAY ME BACK FOR THE ISSUES THAT IT HAD UPON DELIVERY TO ME TO NO AVAIL. I KEEP GETTING A MESSAGE ON HIS CELL PHONE THAT SAY'S THE USER HAS NOT SET UP A VOICEMAIL!!! I WONDER WHY? IT WOULD BE FULL OF COMPLAINTS. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! THEY RIP YOU OFF AND DON'T CARE ONE BIT ABOUT YOU ONCE YOU TAKE DELIVERY. WHAT A SHAME THAT THE CAR I PURCHASED FOR MY SON, WAS IN THE SHOP MORE THEN HE HAD IT! IT IS NOW FIXED, AND CAME OUT OF MY OWN POCKET, AND I STILL HAVE AN ENORMOUS LOAN TO PAY OFF.Desired Settlement: I WOULD VERY MUCH APPRECIATE A REFUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,000.00 FOR THE REPAIRS THAT WERE NEEDED. I WAS LIED TO AS THEY SAID THE CAR HAD NO ISSUES OR I WOULDN'T HAVE PURCHASED IT!

Review: I purchased a 2007 BMW X5 from this dealer in March. The night I signed the contract, as I was getting into the car to drive home at 9pm, I was told (by [redacted], the dealer who sold me the car) that the check engine light had come on in the car but the mechanic had "shut it off". My husband asked, was the problem fixed or was it just turned off. He assured us that the problem was fixed, but as I drove home from Long Island to Westchester, the check engine light came on again. Long Island Auto agreed to fix it so I brought it back to the dealer. But after they fixed it, the check engine light came on again. This happened twice more. The third time it happened, and they realized that they couldn't repair the problem, they had me use my warranty that I had purchased to fix the car at the BMW dealer by me. BEFORE taking my car to be repaired I had asked about a rental car. I was told by [redacted] the [redacted], and [redacted] the head mechanic that I should not worry because I had a great warranty and rentals would be covered. I specifically asked, "what if I get charged for a rental". They both replied, "don't worry, we'll take care of it". Well… after $6,000 worth of repairs to the engine and a 29 day rental, my warranty only paid $490 of the $1529 rental. I am left with a balance of $1,039 that they should be responsible for. (Not only was I told they would take care of any rental fees, but my BMW advisor, [redacted], who aided me with the repairs of my car was told the same thing when he contacted Long Island Auto FInd)

I am driving around with a license plate frame advertising for their dealership, that specifically says "certified preowned vehicles". Yet my car had $6,000 worth of repairs and they refuse to help me out with the rental.Desired Settlement: I desire the remaining balance of the rental bill $1,039. I was specifically told by this dealership, on more than one occasion not worry about any rental fees, and that they would take care of it, if need be.

Review: Hi my name is [redacted] and on January **, 2014 I purchased a 2005 Subaru Impreza Wrx STI from LONG ISLAND AUTO FIND located on [redacted]. The vehicle had 29,627 miles on it when I purchased it and ran great. Since the purchase of the vehicle I have put close to 12,500 miles on the vehicle. Having this vehicle for only 8 months it broke down when I was driving it. It was a catastrophic engine failure. The mileage was around 42,000 miles. At the time of purchase I obtained a Warranty Contract through, (LONG ISLAND AUTO FIND) from a company named Ownershield. My car has gone through a tear down of the motor and the result is catastrophic. The entire motor will need to be replaced, which includes the short block, heads, crankshaft, camshafts, pistons, etc the list can go on of all the parts that are needed for the rebuild of the engine. The Warranty Company Ownershield that was purchased with the vehicle (a Vehicle Service Contract) has denied any coverage of any part of the engine due to aftermarket parts, that were on the vehicle when I purchased the vehicle (such as the custom rims, flowmaster catback exhaust, and the gauges on the dashboard). When I purchased this contract through, LONG ISLAND AUTO FIND they told me I would be covered. When the time came for the warranty coverage; I was not covered due to a void warranty because of the aftermarket parts that were already on the vehicle. This void warranty happened because of the aftermarket parts on the car at the time of purchase. I was sold a Vehicle Service Contract through LONG ISLAND AUTO FIND, who represented the warranty as covering the vehicle for engine or drive system failure, instead the warranty was worthless and void however, was still sold to me as a valid warranty contract which constitutes false pretenses. The contract price for the Vehicle Service Contract was $2,898.00 and that was to cover 24 months or 24,000 miles, which ever came first. Since I was sold a contract under false pretenses the rebuild for the 2005 Subaru Impreza Wrx STI is being requested to be provided through, LONG ISLAND AUTO FIND as the responsible party.Desired Settlement: I will be expecting full coverage of my vehicle through LONG ISLAND AUTO FIND this will entail:Refunded Vehicle Service Contract of $2,898.00Provide payment for complete rebuild of Engine for the 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STI$10,000.00Total= $12,898.00Sincerely,[redacted] Phone# ###-###-####

Response:

Dear [redacted],

[redacted] purchased his 2005 Subaru Imprezza WrxSTI from Long Island Auto Find on 01/**/14 knowingly and specifically because it was equipped with custom rims, flow master exhaust, and gauges on the dashboard. The reason this vehicle broke down and had catastrophic engine failure was strictly because [redacted] completely abused the vehicle. There is no warranty that will ever cover owner abuse. This engine was over revved causing the damage to the engine. When [redacted] came into the dealership to discuss his problem we told him that it was his fault and that the warranty company would not cover it. The warranty will remain in force because it will still cover other components on his vehicle. If [redacted] would like to cancel his warranty at any point he will be eligible for a prorated refund. Unfortunately we see this type of problem all the time with this type of vehicle, the customers who purchase them think they are race cars and abuse them.

If I can give any further assistance please call ###-###-####

Thank you

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

The [redacted] dealership is the company that

disassembled the motor to diagnose the problem. According to their technician

the vehicle was not over revved and the black box on the vehicle had recorded

that the problem occurred at 3200 rpm. The vehicle was never raced or

mistreated in any way and was my daily driver to and from work ect...... So not

only did Long Island Auto Find sell me a voided warrantee to begin with. It can

also be considered Fraud in a court of law.

No window sticker was given included with the purchase of

this vehicle stating the year, make, model, and mileage and if any aftermarket

options on said vehicle (example, aftermarket wheels, flowmaster exhaust, and

gauges). As stated in my purchase agreement I was to receive, said window

sticker and Long Island Auto Find did not produce one for me.

As the purchaser of this vehicle I was under the impression

that said vehicle 2005 Subaru Impreza Wrx STI was sold to ([redacted]) as

a completely stock vehicle with no added options (aftermarket parts).

I was under the impression that the extended warranty would

cover everything on the vehicle including the motor and was the sole reason for

my purchase of the extended warranty.

So what I am asking for is that the, company not only give

me the full reimbursement of my warrantee but, also the cost of replacing the

motor and turbo in the vehicle. [redacted] is writing up the

estimated cost of a full Stock motor replacement and can also provide all of

the documentation supporting my claim. Long Island Auto Find needs to be held

responsible for the sale of the false and voided warrantee I purchased through

them and need to make this situation right!! Their claim that the vehicle was

mistreated in any way is 100% completely false.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

The consumer is certainly eligible to cancel his warranty.

We have spoken to the warranty company that denied the claim.

They confirmed with us that the engine failure was due to user abuse.

Review: I traded in my bmw for one of theirs the first day I left they said I had to come back to to fix ac compressor. I came back a couple days later and stood there till they closed to hve nothing done mind you it was 90 plus degrees that week so I left with no ac again then they fixed that and then the same day I got my car back it wouldnt turn back on so I called tripple a and they said it was the starter so they had a tow truck pick my car up from my driveway . Now the tow truck breaks down and the loner car they were bringing both breaks down. So they had another tow truck come and pick up both cars so they so called fixed the starter now the same day they brung it back to me I drove to a bank of america and of course it wouldnt start back up again so they had it towed to get fixed near me and which I discovered that they never changed the starter. Now I did the trade around mid july and the temp plate was expired from august [redacted] today is august [redacted] and the owner whose name is jim tells me its ok to drive an unregistered car I told him no another car I had before got taken away because of that they dont want to put me in a rental and I have to beg friends to come to jersey to give me a ride to work my car note is die on the [redacted] of august and I barely used the car his month. The car still has a check engine light right bow they dont want to change the car for me so basically im stuck literallly in every possible way I hate this car and the whole deal that went down it was the worst mistake of my life please help me they dont answer my calls or they just put me on hold and hang upDesired Settlement: I want another car or all the money back I missed from work(6days) or either my old car back that I traded

Business

Response:

We are having a hard time taking these claims legitimately as we have paid for multiple of the services the customer claims we did not pay for. We paid for the rental car for the customer and also the towing expenses. Further, we paid to have the car fixed at the mechanic of the customer's choice. Since that time the car to our knowledge has been without issue. We are unable to provide the customer with a new vehicle or $4500 which he claims are reparations from six missed days of work, since we have already paid for the services to have this vehicle fixed.

Review: Purchased a a car from company with a certified bank check and was never mailed promised title. In the state of New York it is illegal to sell a car and not give the owner the title.Desired Settlement: Have dealership send title.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.[redacted] overnight-ed the title and registration on Saturday February [redacted].

Sincerely,

Review: On October [redacted] 2015 my family and I contacted a sales rep named Nick at Li Auto Find in regards to viewing a 2010 Nissan Sentra that I was interested in buying. Nick wasn't able to show me the car because he had to go home before I could arrive, so he connected me to his co-worker Julianna M[redacted]. When I arrived, Julianna took me and my family to go view the car. It was late, but me and my family like the car and decided to come back and see the car in the daylight to make sure it was good. Julianna suggested that I placed a "refundable deposit" on the car, so that they can hold the car for me. I agreed since the deposit was refunded and I really like the car. I put a $500 deposit.

On October ** 2015, I met with Julianna again to view the car. Me and my family found of that the car was no good. The car had signs of transmission issues, so we decided that we did not want the car. I informed Julianna that I did not want the car anymore and would like my deposit back. Naturally, Julianna was not happy about this and started to give me attitude. Julianna informed that her financial person was not there and that she would call me tomorrow in regards to my refund. I was okay with that, but when multiple days passed and no one gave me a call. I called Li Auto Find to see what was going on with my refund. I spoke to the financial department. The reps there said they had no documents in regards to my refund. I tried to get in touch with Julianna, but Julianna was not there that day. So I spoke to Nick. At first Nick was no available, so I left a voicemail on his phone. Later that day, Nick return my call. I informed him that Julianna never submitted my paperwork to the financial department. Nick informed me that he would take care of it and that in a couple of days I should see the refund in my account. I believed him. I waited a total od 10 days, because sometimes banks takes a long time to release a refund. After 10 days, I noticed that I did not receive my refund. I called Li Auto Find again and spoke to Julianna. Julianna respond to me was " I don't have anything to do with that. You have to take to the financial department". I was shock about her respond. I assumed that once I spoken to Julianna in regards to not receiving my refund that should would help get things settled, since she is the sales rep I did the refund with. But unfortunately, it seem that she did not care about my issue one bit, since she was no longer receiving a sale from me. I hung up with Julianna and called Li Auto Find and transferred to the financial department and spoke to a lady name Agnes. I informed Agnes of my issue with my refund. Agnes informs me that she doesn't see anything in regards to my refund and that she'll have to look into it and give me a call back. I informed Agnes of my wariness of her actually returning my call back. Agnes reinforced that she will call me back/. Later that day Agnes did call me back, but I missed her call. On the voicemail, Agnes said that she would give me a call the next day because she was leaving for the day. I waited for her to call the next day and she didn't. I called her today November [redacted] 2015 and her phone went to voicemail. I have left her voicemail instructing her to give me a call back.

Thus whole experience with this company has been nothing but a nightmare. I don't understand how a company functions like this. $500 dollars is a lot of money for a college student.Desired Settlement: I want my $500 back. I also feel that the company should give me something else for my pain and suffering. I been calling them for days about my refund. And they have done nothing but give me a run around, no matter who I talked to. This has been really annoying and stressful. I could have been using that money for something else, like rent.

Business

Response:

The customer was contacted multiple times by our employee Agnes and kept thoroughly informed throughout the process. The refund was processed in an orderly manner and the customer was informed that she would need to wait for her card to be refunded. We are unsure of how this became an issue as the customer was in constant contact with our employees. The refund has since been returned to the customer.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I don't agree with the statement the company made That is not correct, Agnes did not keep in touch with throughout the refund process. I did not speak to Agnes into weeks after my "refund" was suppose to be refunded. I already spoke with the manager at Li Auto Find and told him I would drop the claim.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Review: The dealership has failed to provide registration to the vehicle. They charged $450.00 to get the registration and more than a month later they just hang up on me when I call to inquire. According to employees the person who handles these issues is never there and they have no manager to speak to. I have called daily for two weeks. My insurance has dropped the car because I failed to register it. So I can't drive it, can't protect it, but am expected to pay for it and can't get any assistance from the dealership.Desired Settlement: I expect them to provide registration to my home AND a refund of the fees charged to register. OR if they are unable to obtain title for the car I expect them to allow me to return the car and provide a full refund. AND I expect someone from the dealer to telephone me.

Business

Response:

Please have the customer call our general manager [redacted] @ ###-###-####We will resolve the situation immediately.

Review: Above mentioned dealer promised to replace 4 tires on vehicle. After 2 months of waiting on April ** 2015 the replacement was performed but I received tires that did not match, and only received 2 tires. In addition, a safety issue is involving the driver side mirror which is loose and does not adjust properly for maximum vision. Dealer refuses to make repairs as in his opinion it would not be cost effective.Desired Settlement: I pray for an outcome that satisfies dealers initial promises made. Four matching tires rated for my vehicle, and a replacement mirror as promised.

Business

Response:

We will absolutely replace the tires on the vehicle, please call us and set up an appointment to come in and the tires will be replaced.

Review: I purchased a car on may [redacted] 2015 a 2007 ford mustang with a super charge. a few days after the purchase I went back to get an inspection and the car couldn't pass, so they kept my car for 5 days and put 100 miles on it and got it to pass.

I only use the car on weekends and I was having some noise issues I called them for a service appointment. on july [redacted] 2015 they wanted me to wait 2 weeks and I told them I can't wait and they had me bring the car in on July [redacted] 2015 on my way to the dealer the motor blow out and shoot part out the back of the car. I made it to the repair shop and left the car there. the next day I got a call from a nasty service man named mike telling me hes not fixing my car and to pick it up or he'll have it towed out to the street. I have been calling them every day asking for a manger and they never return my calls I have not picked up the car yet since I have to arrange towing and storage of the car becasue it can not be driven.Desired Settlement: I want a refund on the car or a reapir from a shop that under a warrenty

Business

Response:

Damage to the 2007 Mustang GT engine was not only visible through the side of the engine block, but also apparent from the condition of the rear tires which were in like new condition when sold, which are now ripped and have no tread left. Condition of the tires could be caused by highly reckless and aggressive driving. There is no possible way for a car to eject a portion of the engine's rotating assembly unless the engine has been subjected to consistent excessive high rpm operation.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

This car has a super charger on it that their mechanics could not figure out and had to outsource it toanother shop just so it would pass a NYS inspection which took over 5 days andover a hundred miles was put on the car from them. I don't know much aboutengines but what I read online about super chargers but if is not the right tune in the engine it will blow upalso the tire where not new at the time of purchase.I have made several calls to speak with a manger a and they have never called me back

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Business

Response:

Upon investigating the vehicle for our customer we determined the damage was caused due to excessive high rpm operation. A portion of the engine's rotating assembly ejected through the side of the engine due to the customer's negligence. This is unfortunately not covered under our company's warranty. Our previous response to the customer contained proof of the engine's misuse in the form of photographs.

Review: I purchased a 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac Limited on 11/**/2014. I flew from SC to NY to purchase the vehicle, paid cash, and drove the vehicle back to SC, 800 miles. Upon leaving the dealership, I noticed that the back up sensors needed servicing and also that there was a roaring sound coming from the front tires. Once I got back to SC, I took the truck to a Certified Ford Dealership and they went over the vehicle and found that the reverse sensing module was defective and that there was a wheel bearing bad in the left front wheel. The total repair cost is over $1200.00. I contacted the dealership within a week of purchasing the vehicle and advised of what I had found. They never returned my call. When they finally called me back today, they advised that I would have to bring the vehicle back to NY, 800 miles one way, to get it repaired but that they were not going to pay another facility to repair my vehicle. Now this vehicle came with a warranty that is listed on their website and they are not honoring it.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the money that I have had to pair in repairs to a vehicle that I purchased and had to have repairs. Also, they represented this vehicle as a one [redacted] no accidents when in fact, the rear bumper has been repainted.

Business

Response:

We are sorry if you did not have a pleasant experience dealing with our company. If the buyer wants to get a vehicle checked out by another dealer or mechanic we are always open to that. After the vehicle is checked out it is brought back to us to verify any repair, this is common practice in the industry. The buyer also signs a document confirming this. We are happy to fix any repairs necessary before the car leaves our lot. If the buyer wants to get the vehicle checked at their dealer they use for service that is perfectly okay, but in this case that was 13 hours away from our dealership. The only thing we can offer in this case is to have the car brought to us so we can verify any repair and fix it.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I have taken the vehicle to my local Ford dealer and the amount that I requested is the amount that it will take to repair my vehicle. I have also supplied the dealership in question with the estimates from Tidelands Ford. Here is the miles and hours it would take me not including traffic and road construction to get the vehicle back to New York from South Carolina ( via I-95 N via I-95 N via I-95 Ntypically 11 h 51 min11 h 25 minArrive around · Leave around · 721 miles10 h 57 min without traffic · Show trafficHide traffic·Mostly flat·Show terrainHide terrain·Show bike pathsHide bike paths This route has tolls. ) It is approximately $67.00 in tolls one way plus the cost and expense of gas and travel to get there) If the dealership is willing to pay my expenses to get to New York from South Carolina, which would be a total of around $800.00 additional dollars to the original complaint, then I will gladly bring it back to them. Otherwise, I would like to have the vehicle repaired here in South Carolina and reimbursement from Long Island Auto Find. There statement does not reflect an apology for the way that I have been talked to nor does it satisfy my complaint. Thank you.

Review: Today is June [redacted]. I purchased a car from Long Island Auto Find on June [redacted] 2015. Our agreement (signed at 10:50 pm) was $16,500 for vehicle and tax with car delivery within one week after agreed upon repairs. I paid $16,587.50 in cash. I noticed the next morning that my paperwork did not contain any tax. In essence I had paid $16,500 for the car. Danny (salesman) and Michael (Finance) agree to the mistake and when the car was delivered I received new paperwork showing the cost of the car as $15,500 and the total price $15,587.50. Long Island Auto Find owes me a refund of $1,000. I have called this business numerous times (including 8x in one day) and occasionally they seem to be trying to help. Sometimes, they tell me they will find out what is going on and call right back. They never call back. Michael told me on Monday June [redacted] that they screwed up but since they were having an audit I would have to call back on Wednesday June [redacted] to get an answer as to when I can expect my refund. I called back on that Wednesday eight times. Michael never returned my call. He told me on the June [redacted] call that my refund is important to me and him, but not to the owners since they were in the middle of an audit. I have left messages for the General Manager Jim, he does not return my call and he is, according to his team, never in the office. My salesman can not seem to get it done either. I have paperwork proving I overpaid by $1,000.

I have not yet received my title for the vehicle I purchased.

Additionally, Long Island Auto Find agreed to supply a jack and tool kit that were missing from the car. I never received the items.

Finally, Long Island Auto Find agreed to supply a second key for the car. Then I was told they could not get me a second key but that they would reimburse me for the key. I can't even get them to talk to me about my $1,000 refund how do I get reimbursed for the $80.00 I spent on a key (chip) at [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like my $1,000 overpayment returned to me. I would like the title for the vehicle I purchased overnighted to me. I would like the jack and tool kit they agreed to provide shipped to me and I would like reimbursement for the key that I purchased.

Margaurite said she would send it today. I am still waiting for my title and the temp tag they issued me expired on July [redacted] What do I do about that? I have been. Calling and leaving messages.
