I have received multi post cards with my house as the picture on the post card, Now I have called over 5 times and was assured my name would be taken of for the first 3 times, but after I was told its a picture of your house on google, yes it is but it is also illegal for anyone to copy the pictures on Google, I advised them of this and now I am asking anyone else willing to help find a hungry lawyer who wants to make some money and hopefully put a stop to this? I am saving all of my cards and advised my neighbors to do the same, I have been told my address would be removed ,no never has its a rip off, it is also harassment. I'm done

Review: They keep sending me cards monthly. Offering to buy my home. My home is not for sale. I have contacted them several times to take me off their mailing lit. They say they will but it has continued only I don't know how they get my name anyway and I want mail to stop immediately.Desired Settlement: I want them to stop mail and get me off their mailing list immediately.

Business

Response:

I have forwarded to our marketing department to remove from the list and manually done so. As we tell customers we have to have the mailing address exactly as it appears on the mailing piece they receive because the system automatically removes the addresses with a computer application that does an exact match to the address in our file. The address in our file matches the mailing piece exactly. We continue to strive to improve our response to getting people off the mailing list when they request that we do so.

Review: I received a bright yellow post card that said. " Please Turn This Card over sor very important information about your property at [redacted], **" and on the back was the following FALSE statement. " ATTENTION [redacted] - I WANT TO BUY YOUR PROPERTY AT [redacted], "as-is", make you a fair "Cash" offer, and close on the date you choose. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET A HOLD OF YOU FOR THE PAST FEW WEEKS REGARDING YOUR PROPERTY AT [redacted]. Unfortunately, I have not been successful in contacting you so as a last resort, I have sent you this postcard in the hopes that you will respond back soon. I DID SOME RESEARCH IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS DEPARTMENT AND WANTED TO FIND OUT IF YOU WERE THINKING OF SELLING IT. I want to meke things as easy as possible for us to do business. I am not sure of the condition inside but it would not be a problem if the property needs some work. I would also buy the property with the tenants there so you won't have to ask them to move out AND I will even be willing to help you by paying for all of your closing costs on the transaction. I TOOK THE TIME TO RECORD A MESSAGE ABOUT MY OFFER TO BUY YOUR PROPERTY AT [redacted]. PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT AND LISTEN TO MY MESSAGE BY CALLING [redacted]. YOU CAN CALL 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK. PLEASE TRY AND CALL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I HOPE THAT WE CAN WORK SOMETHING OUT...I AM VERY ANXIOUS TO HEAR FROM YOU IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.Desired Settlement: We OWN our home and LIVE in it. We are not selling. So we do not want any CALLS, POSTCARDS, MAIL of any kind from this company or any of it's subsidiaries.

Business

Response:

Their name will be removed from the mailing list so they don't get any more mail from us.

Review: In early 2014 I began receiving postcards from Quick Fix Real Estate stating an interest in buying my property. I have never requested this service but I continue to receive this mailing on a monthly basis. I called many times and ask to have my name and address removed from Quick Fix files and all mailing lists and was told they would comply with my request yet I continue to receive the postcards. These mailings are excessive and obtrusive and are going beyond what is necessary and proper.Desired Settlement: Please remove my name and address from ALL Quick Fix files and mailing lists. Please cease and desist from ALL present and future mailings to me. This needs to stop immediately. Thank you.

Business

Response:

I have researched the issue and found the root of the problem. The mailing address was misspelled in our remove from list records so the matching to our mailing list failed to recognize the file as one that is marked for removal. I have updated it with the correct address and should stop future mailings to this mailing address. I called the customer to explain the error and apologize for any inconvenience.

Review: Continuously mailing of sales practices for sale of my home -- post cardsDesired Settlement: Please stop. I am not interested immediately.

Business

Response:

We have now added them to our do not mail list since they have now requested it. If they provide their phone number I can find them in our system and make sure they do not get called in the future.

I am still receiving your postcards. Stop sending them immediately.

Business

Response:

We have reviewed the file and found that the customer submitted the address differently than how it is in our system and on the postcard mailed to them. We ask all customers that ask to be removed from the mailing list to give us the address exactly as it appears on the postcard. This particular file submitted the street address as 2 names and it is 1 name on the postcard and mailing list. I have corrected it so the automated system will pick up the removal request for this specific customer. As you can imagine with large sets of data it has to be an exact match for the system to pick these items out and sort them accordingly. We ask customers that wish to be removed from future mailings give or leave a message with exactly how the address is spelled including any special characters in the address field in order to accommodate their request.

Review: Have received numerous cards from this company wanting to buy my house. I have left messages on the answering machine for the number provided on the card and even talked to a live person that my hope is not for sale. They continue to send cardsDesired Settlement: Stop any type of contact with me.

Business

Response:

Please email your full name, mailing address, and property address(es) that you have received mail about that you want to stop mail. Our marketing is done months in advance and can take up to 3 months to be fully removed from all the lists since they are in production for future mailings. Email to [redacted] or call the number on the postcard and leave the information.

I have received multiple mailers. The person's name was [redacted] not [redacted], but same address & phone.

Response:

[redacted] is an employee of the company that is authorized to purchase property for the company. I've checked the mailing address and it is on the do not mail list. I will follow up with the marketing department to see why it was not flagged for removal. I apologize for the mistake.

Regards,

Review: This unsolicited postcard sent to me more than (6) times is harassment. I've never heard of a Quick Fix Real Estate. There's no phone book listing for them.

I'd like to know who gave them my name and address, and who gave them permission to search public records to harass "senior citizens"?

Is this a reputable company or a scam artist? Oh yeah if I want to sell my home -- I'll do the contacting by phone myself!

Plus I don't have people I don't know snooping around looking at the condition of my home.Desired Settlement: Stop contacting me.

Business

Response:

Upon this request from the customer to be removed from receiving a post card we will remove them from the mailing list. It takes up to 4 weeks. Contacting us at the phone number on the post card is also acceptable way to be removed from the list. We had not received a request to be removed so we have no way of knowing they needed to be taken off the list. We are 100% a real company and have purchased approximately 40 homes in the Roanoke Valley this year.

Review: I am not interested in selling my home. I wish this individual would get his facts complete and leave me and my home alone and my personal files alone even if they are public record. Let my property alone - either you are whoever you have that keep harassing me about what is mine!Desired Settlement: Stay out of my life harassing me about my property. I would never sell to this person or company.

Business

Response:

If they contact us to remove them from the mailing list we will remove them from future mailings. I will add the address to the removed list.

Review: Continued advertising after repeated calls to have name dropped off list. Also this company has effected the lower of property values in the area making it nearly impossible for realistic property sales forcing residents to sell to them for drastically lower values.Desired Settlement: no more mailings

Business

Response:

We did not see records of a remove from list request so it has now been submitted and removed from our files. They should not get any more mailings.
