Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I recall making only two appointments and making inquiries about many other dates and times I had only canceled one appointment due to having a family emergency The second appointment was canceled by the shop when the owner refused to fix my tattoo Also at the time of making the appointment I had not been asked or informed I would need to come to Oshkosh for the reworkI just looked back threw the text messages and verify that I am correct on this From the initial contact with the owner I made him aware that I am a long haul truck driver so getting back in for the fix would be a bit of a challenge The only time my girlfriend had contacted the shop for me is when I was driving It's against the law for a commercial drivers to text and driveAlong with the fact that the owner would respond only to text and not to a phone call, ultimately leaving her texting with him and not myself was the safest choiceShe has been in the loop of what is going on since the beginning and is very upset with it, more so as she was the one to have recommended his shop to begin withHer poor review should not reflect on me as she is not the one paying the bill or having the work done, I am She had questioned the shop publicly on how she has done slander and has received no response Also how can anyone say she was talking for the both of us when it wasn't both of us that made the comments about his shop? After going and looking at the post we are both still wondering and asking how her opinion is slander and still await an answer Where did the slander happen and how? Also I was NEVER informed before getting the tattoo done that it was a apprentice until after the matter If I would have been notified, I would have never got the tattoo done for that price or with the new type of machine he was using knowing he was a rookie Also I have asked other tattoo artist to look at not only tattoo for me but the pictures we had taken during the healing processI keep getting told time and time again that "this is not right", "does not look right", that whoever worked on my arm "gouged it very bad", and that I "could have issues with scaring" From the start I informed the shop that due to my job it was going to be hard for me to get in and get this taken care of Also after being told that the shop stands behind their work it shouldn't matter how long it takes for me to get back in to deal with it As far and the recolor price goes, once I saw the price the shop was asking from the start, I knew I was not going to have them do it, for I felt it was too much for a recolor This is a decision I made as a customer I still feel I am not out of line to ask for half my money back on this I am looking at about that much to have another shop fix it, since this shop is NOT standing behind their work anymore With Regards, [redacted]

I was contacted by this client back in July in reference to her tattoo not healing to her satisfaction I asked her to send pictures of the tattoo so I could see how it was healingAs
she mentioned in her statement, I found the tattoo was actually healing wellAnytime someone gets a tattoo there is a chance that it will need a touch upI have made it a point as the owner to be readily available to clients who have a complaint so that I can assure it is handled the best way possibleI set up several appointments with this client to make the tattoo look the way she desiredMultiple times she canceled on the appointmentI continued to set up appointments with her and we finally agreed to get together on January 31st We originally had her set up to come to one of my Appleton locations to get tattooedAfter months of me trying to work with her and get her to the shop, and after her canceling multiple times, I have since located to Oshkosh where I tattooI did ask her if it was OK for her to come to Oshkosh and she said she didn't mindThe night before her appointment she asked me how much it would cost to recolor another tattooI gave her a discounted price for the new tattoo, to later find out that her girlfriend was not happy with that priceLater that night her girlfriend tagged my shop's *** page in a status slandering my shop and myselfAs a business owner I try to do everything I can make every client happy I have worked with her for months and made myself available to take care of this situationSometimes there are customers that no matter what you do, you will not please them After her canceling so many prior appointments and being slandered by her girlfriend on ***, I decided that no matter what I do it would be impossible for me to make her happy, so I asked her to take her business to another shopShe was informed, as all of our clients are, before getting tattooed by our apprentice that he in fact was an apprentice She most likely was allergic to the red considering the only parts of the tattoo that healed rough were the parts of the tattoo that had red in it There are many brands of ink out there, some of which people can be allergic to She was asked to come to Oshkosh and seemed to have no problem coming thereIf it were a problem I would have just met her at one of my Appleton locationsHer friend she is speaking of is actually her girlfriend and wrote the slanderous status acting as it came from both of themI feel I have made myself available and offered her a fair chance for her to get this fixed, I don't believe I owe her anything more than thatI will not be offering a settlement of any kind as I feel I have done my part that would satisfy most any other customer

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I recall making only two appointments and making inquiries about many other dates and times.  I had only canceled one appointment due to having a family emergency.  The second appointment was canceled by the shop when the owner refused to fix my tattoo.  Also at the time of making the appointment I had not been asked or informed I would need to come to Oshkosh for the rework. I just looked back threw the text messages and verify that I am correct on this.   From the initial contact with the owner I made him aware that I am a long haul truck driver so getting back  in for the fix would be a bit of a challenge.  The only time my girlfriend had contacted the shop for me is when I was driving.  It's against the law for a commercial drivers to text and drive. Along with the fact that the owner would respond only to text and not to a phone call, ultimately leaving  her texting with him and not myself was the safest choice. She has been in the loop of what is going on since the beginning and is very upset with it,  more so as she was the one to have recommended his shop to begin with. Her poor review should not reflect on me as she is not the one paying the bill or having the work done, I am.  She had questioned the shop publicly on how she has done slander and has received no response.  Also how can anyone say she was talking for the both of us when it wasn't both of us that made the comments about his shop?  After going and looking at the post we are both still wondering and asking how her opinion is slander and still await an answer.  Where did the slander happen and how?  Also I was NEVER informed before getting the tattoo done that it was a apprentice until after the matter.  If  I would have been notified, I would have never got the tattoo done for that price or with the new type of machine he was using knowing he was a rookie.  Also I have asked other tattoo artist to look at not only tattoo for me but the pictures we had taken during the healing process. I keep getting told time and time again that "this is not right", "does not look right",  that whoever worked on my arm "gouged it very bad", and that I "could have issues with scaring".  From the start I informed the shop that due to my job it was going to be hard for me to get in and get this taken care of.   Also after being told that the shop stands behind their work it shouldn't matter how long it takes for me to get back in to deal with it.  As far and the recolor price goes, once I saw the price the shop was asking from the start,  I knew I was not going to have them do it, for I felt it was too much for a recolor.  This is a decision I made as a customer.  I still feel I am not out of line to ask for half  my money back on this.  I am looking at about that much to have another shop fix it, since this shop is NOT standing behind their work anymore.
