Was looking for a oil change shop, I supplied my own oil and filter, they took it in, supposedly changed the oil and filter and charged me $25. I asked for receipt and they refused. It smelled like burning oil all the way home so I figured they had changed it. I'm aware and capable to do oil changes and have done them all my life just didn't want to this time. So when I got home, I was going to check for leaks, tight oil plug. Oil filter is very visible and right away I noticed it had the same filter, a Wix, white with lettering, I had supplied an orange Fram so I felt these guys ripped me off by not changing the filter, the oil, I am not sure about but all the oil and filter I supplied was gone when I left their shop.
The customer asked for and oil change. Brought his own oil and filter. Filter removed was Bosch Part # 72137ws. Filter installed was Tg 16. 7 quarts was added , customer was informed and rest of oil was left in the truck. When the customer called and informed that oil and filter were not changed, I requested him to bring the truck right away to re- inspect and verify his complaint.
