It is unfortunate that the coatng system has leaked The coating was applied above and beyond the manufactuer specifications I believe the barn has to much movement in the structure and is causing the membrane to break This was not our recomendation but an attempt at a solution to solve until you were able to replace the roofing systemThe warranty was only for a year but you were sent the certificate as if the replacement that was originally bid was completed I would like to come out and look at the coating on your conveinence I just need to see where it has leaked I would like to get the coating manufacturer representiive out to see why this has not worked If it is the movement of the system and there is not a coating that can be applied then I will refund the money I believe we are dealing with a couple of places where the leak is limited to a drip We had inches of rain in a month earlier this year We have come out every time a call was made Most of the leak issues were last year Again this was an attempt to help and I believe you know that If I can not make it right I will refund Please let me know when I can visit[redacted] [redacted]

I apologize for the frustration Mrs. [redacted] has experienced. We have tried as a company to ensure her satisfaction. Many of the issues stem from a tile roofing system that the insurance company did not pay to replace. They made the assessment that the tile roofing was not damaged... due to the hail storm that effected the McAllen area in 2012. Leaks occured from the area of the tile roofing system causing sheet rock damage. These leaks also created a stain on the wood floor. In a gesture of good will toward Mrs. [redacted] we replaced the tile roofing system at no expense to her and also helped by repairing sheet rock and paint. I feel that we went above and beyond in this situation by doing work and repairing work that was not in our contract and that we received no compensation for. I do not feel it is fair for me to be asked to pay for flooring as well in this situation. We have repaired stucco areas that are being referenced. Expansion joints within a stucco exterior are necessary to prevent further cracking in the system. I have tried to be fair with regard to the work and warranty on Mrs. [redacted] 's home. I do not feel any further compensation is owed but will pay $2,500.00 to settle this matter and to be relieved of future obligations to Mrs. [redacted] 's home. If she agrees to this a check will be mailed to address she specifies immediately. [redacted] [redacted]

I understand Mrs. [redacted] frustration. We always want to do the right thing. In regard to the system installed we have installed per the manufacturer specifications. I believe many of the leaks that are being referenced are because a solution was not made during the extreme amount of rain in the May and June time frame. The last two leaks that we had to fix were due to screws backing out of the metal roof and through the coating that was placed on the roof. I do not believe there are any current leaks on the facility but screws backing through the membrane is not due to defective labor on my part. As stated before we were trying to come up with cost effective solutions for Mrs. [redacted] when coming up with a coating system. The coating will work and last 10+ years without a re-coat. I have spent $2500.00 above the contract to make the system work. It has taken effort but I believe the system will last. My only issue with not giving a full refund is that I have not installed the system wrong. There is not a company around that would continue to warranty the product if screws are backing through the system. I have never tried not to complete a call under warranty. I do not think the system will have any other leaks unless a screw backs through. If people are kept off the roofing system this should not be happening. If a leak occurs I can have someone out to fix it. The warranty will be upheld. I offered 3500.00 refund if they want to look at other options. I will increase to $3,800.00 and recommend we see what happens with the upcoming rains. [redacted] ***, vice president of Quick Roofing water tested the roof and only found the one area to have a deficiency. [redacted]

Quick Roofing has contacted Ms *** after receiving this complaintAfter a brief discussion over her concerns with the billing the error was found and correctedI expressed our apologies for the inconvenience we have caused herMs *** is satisfied with the outcome and has
released the final payment to Quick Roofing Our sales manager has pulled the salesmen in for additional training on the system and on customer serviceWe have had additional training in the office to help with understanding the customers needs and concerns

I spoke to Mr*** regarding the frustration regarding his insurance claim. Most of the frustration came from an out of pocket expense of around $he incurred. Based on our information from the insurance carrier the insurance should have compensated enough to cover
everything. I feel like the insurance carrier in this case created confusion and did not compensate for all of the damages that were incurred. We made supplement requests and performed work with photographs of the damage to supplement back to the insurance carrier. The insurance carrier refused to cover damage after over $worth of work was completed. The insurance carrier explained that they paid for some supplements to us, but they may have left off without our knowledge. I believe the insurance carrier leaving off items and creating a chaotic mess out of the paperwork created this confusion. Quick Roofing agreed to a credit of $which we gave to the homeowner. We completed the $worth of repairs that we were not paid for and we did not ask the homeowner for the money that was refused them. If Mr*** would like to sit down and go over the paper work line item by line item I would be glad to do it. When we spoke, his last statement to me was “I already paid it and I am done with this.” Once again I hate that there is frustration and will help in any way I can with his insurance carrier to get him compensated the $ *** ***

Mrs***, I appologize for the facia that nails penetrated, I will have *** ***, Vice President of my company facilitate completing repairs and fixing everything sot that it looks great and is not a problem I appologize for the frustration getting this done I am not sure
why it slipped through and was not handled, that is not the character of our company and is not the way that we want to handle things It will be fixed right away *** will contact carpenters and painters to remedy right away

I certainly apologize for any frustration caused. I will follow up with this and would like to schedule our Vice President to come and review and inspect to insure that everything is taken care of. I will reach out to *** regarding interior repairs to schedule a time that is good for her
to have taken care of. *** ***, Vice President of Quick Roofing will create a thorough roof audit to ensure the roofing system meets our strict guidelines. With this being scheduled through a GC the office may have been trying to work through the GC. They should have gained clarity so this did not have to go on. The roofing system originally came with a year Warranty. At this point I will extend the warranty to years and will make sure interior is repaired. I apologize again. I apologize for the frustration of having a roof leak on your new roof This is very easily fixed and we will make sure that it is corrected One of the conversations early on in the selection of your roofing system we offered a modified bitumen roofing system for this area due to the
low slope of the roofing system The adjuster as well as Heath explained that shingles should not be in that area I am not trying to defend or refuse responsibility but these areas were concerning from the beginning I understand that you did not want to use that and Heath believed he could make the replacement as desired without a leak, because of that we will always uphold our warranty *** ***, Vice President of Quick Roofing has come out and designed a solution to make sure that you no longer have a leak in the roofing system As of now, we are just trying to schedule the most conveinent time to come and fix the roof We were scheduled for Tuesday and Today and it is not good, I understand We have scheduled for Monday morning *** *** with one of his helpers will be out to make the repairs at AM He has been with Quick Roofing over years and is a great technician Wade is also having them add extra flashing in areas that we did not contract on to ensure that there is not a problem again I appologize for the frustration that you went through and we discussed yesterday I will work with my people to ensure a better experience After speaking with you, you noted that you were just very frustrated at the time of the complaint I feel like some of the comments, like being hung up on were incorrectSpeaking with you yesterday gave me some ideas for improvement and will be worked into some our processes and procedures I hope when the problem is solved you will correct statements that may have been made because you were frustrated I want to do what is right The problem will be fixed, you do have a seven year warranty on your roofing system that we will honor, and if interior damage is present we will pay for those repairs

rains, there are multiple leaks throughout the barn*** has worked on
them over and over, but the issues simply don't seem to be able to be
resolved using the methods your company has triedAfter this much time,
I cannot risk more embarrassment and inconvenience every time it rains
during events and otherwiseI just need my money back that was paid for
a leak-fee roof that was never delivered.

I have looked in to the problem at the complaint mentioned belowThe roof has been addressed in the problem areasThere is still one area that we need to readdress and that is where the ridge vent was removed and low profiles were installedWe need to pull the ridge back off, inspect the decking

On the 7/12/2016 we showed the issue was resolved. The issue was determined to be a manufacture defect and Mr *** was sending the claim paperwork to GAF. We had not heard anything from himPlease let us know what was GAF response to the claim

have at least FIVE major leaks in the roof.
If *** *** only found “one area to have a deficiency” (and supposedly
he fixed it), then once again, Quick Roofing has demonstrated that their
attempts to provide a leak-free roof have failed in the same way they have
failed for the last 18+ monthsWe have pictures and videos documenting these
leaks, which we can provide upon requestAs we have done over the past 18+
months, we had to pay workers to clean these leaks and place buckets to catch
the water during the storms
Again, for over months, since the roofing was installed,
we have NEVER had a single rain where the roof did not have multiple
significant leaks. Your claim is that
the product is working correctly and was installed correctly, but how do you
reconcile those two conflicting issues?
Also, a “solution was not made during the extreme amount of
rain in May or June” because Quick Roofing (Bruce) quit answering our calls and
texts altogether. I have numerous texts
to Bruce explaining that the roof was leaking, to which he never responded
Phone records will show the same thing
Your guarantee/warranty states we will have no leaks, but
you have never come close to providing that.
You once offered a $4,refund, then went down to a $3,refund
That would mean I am left paying $3,for a product I have never
received. This does not make sense as
the product that was paid for was a roof that would not leakIt was never delivered
In light of the failed attempts at delivering the product that was paid for,
and especially based on this last attempt of *** *** which did not come
close to delivering a leak-free roof, I am requesting a full refund in the
amount of $7,

I am rejecting this response because:
I would like to inform you that in regards to Complaint # [redacted] against Quick Roofing this case has not been closed/resolved. I am still dealing with my roof issues and there hasn't been a resolution to my case. I've had 3 roofers determine that I need a roof replacement due to all of the issues we presently have. I have another roofer whose estimate I am waiting for, however in communication with 1 of their representatives it looks like they are determining the same as the other roofers. I haven't told the Revdex.com that this case has been resolved and I will not considered it resolved until we are satisfied. Thank you for your time.Regards,
