I am rejecting this response because: my boyfriend *** was the one who took it back on Monday to be looked at. He talked to a tech who told him it mist of happened when truck left shop.. The shop blew him off right then and there. Their shop is very dark so if they claim to inspect all glass before it is sold, Maybe they should get some adequate lighting. My boyfriend felt they were rude and did not even check windshield professionally. Also, If I HAD A Work Order Hanging there Why Didnt They Call? A So Called Tech Did LooK At It And Discredited IT As My Error

Rock damage to a windshield is not warrantable, and is visibly very different from a factory flaw or a packaging scratch to the glass Our installers have multiple certifications in glass installation and repair, along with years of experience collectively between the two of themOur staff, facility, experience and reputation are something we take much pride in and provide the very best service to all our customers. It’s unfortunate when damage occurs to a brand new windshield, but it has been known to happen… no fault of anyone, just bad timing! Most customers in an area such as ours, with frequent glass damage, carry low deductibles with free rock repairs….which she carries. The offer to resolve this matter remains the same and we would like to set an appointment to do so. We will help coordinate the rock repair with her insurance company, but will require the insured to be present with her vehicle. We look forward to the opportunity to meet her and rectify the situation!

12/10/2017Re: ID# [redacted] To whom it may concern, This is a response to the complaint filed on 11/27/2017. Our standard corporate policy is to inspect each piece of glass prior to installation and again after installation during a cleanup/detail process. On a rare occasion, a factory...

flaw or packaging scratch may not be visible until sunlight hits and reveals an area of question upon driving. With a concern of this nature, we ask the customer to bring the vehicle back for further inspection to determine if it is warrantable or if it is a rock chip damage that occurred subsequently to the customer leaving the shop. In the case of a rock chip, its unfortunate and can happen the minute they drive the vehicle down the road, but there is no way possible for the glass to receive this type of damage within the shop.The customer's windshield was installed on Friday 11/04/2017, she called the following day (Saturday), I asked her to bring it in on Monday 11/06/2017 so an installer could look at the windshield. Neither installer recalls her coming by and we still have a clip board with a work order-copy of her original invoice with a note to look at the glass.- the work order would typically have been converted to reschedule the customer for a replacement or repair. She may have come by and caught one of them in passing to quickly view it and the confirmation of it being rock chip damage was not to her liking and left upset not allowing us to take care of the situation fairly. Our business practice since 1984 has always been to send our customers away with a clear new outlook and to stand behind our work 100%. Had it been a warrantable concern with the glass, we would have offered to replace it, or we would have offered to fix the rock chip to avoid her needing to replace another windshield.Attached is a copy of both her original invoice, signed by another individual upon pick up and a contact name of [redacted] noted on the invoice, there was more than one individual involved with this appointment. Attached as well is a copy of the work order we had set to look at the glass.We are more than willing to stand behind a defective piece of glass or repair the rock chip if she would like to give us that opportunity! We can schedule an appointment and have another auto glass professional present to give a second opinion concerning her complaint! I am rejecting this response, because they already looked at it.  They already told my boyfriend that it was chipped after it left the shop.  When actually they sold me a windshield with a chip in it.  I work 48+ hours a week in a school system so I don't have the convienence to come be blown off by said glass shop. That is why my boyfriend who I trust was the one taking my vehicle down.   They already looked at it and made a judgement!! They can talk about their expertise but they did not show it. I just want my $100.00 deductible refunded and I will go somewhere else.
