Tell us why here..This message is in response to the complaint issued by [redacted] for services performed on her Dodge Ram pick up on July 24, ? During the service, while replacing the oil filter, there was inadvertent contact with a tool and the positive post of the vehicle battery? This contact allowed the electronic power steering circuit to go to ground, blowing the fuse? Upon exiting the service bays, the power steering was inoperable due to a blown fuse, and illuminated a warning on the dash? Immediate diagnosis or repair was unavailable since this unfortunately occurred on a Sunday? Upon becoming aware of the problem we authorized the use of a rental vehicle at our expense until the problem could be diagnosed and repaired? The customer agreed, and? we? provided transportation for them to the rental car agency? As per the rental car agency policies, they required a deposit to authorize use of their vehicles? Because of the required deposit, the Customer decided to use a relatives vehicle instead? We? transported the Customer to their relatives home where they picked up an alternate vehicle? The next morning on Monday, July 25th, the vehicle in question was diagnosed and the fuse was replaced at QuikStop expense? The vehicle was functioning normally and no other issues were found? After contacting the Customer to inform them the truck was ready, they requested to have the dealership complete a full inspection of the vehicle? We agreed and also had this completed ? at QuikStop expense. The vehicle was diagnosed, repaired and received a full inspection then returned to the customer in less than hours after the incident? We agreed to refund the amount of $for the service we provided? We also authorized the use of a rental vehicle which the Customer declined for their own reasons? We also provided $in credit for use at any of our area service facilities? We corrected the problem, offered alternate similar transportation, refunded the cost of our service and completed all repairs at no cost to the customer, and apologized for the inconvenience. If there is anything more that the Revdex.com believes we should do, please let us know? We like to do whatever it takes to satisfy every customer

We received an email this week from this customer regarding this concern We assured him it is absolutely NOT the policy of QuikStop Oilube to recommend services based upon anything but the manufacturers recommendation for services on their vehicle A mile oil change is NOT
recommended or needed by any vehicle manufacturer that we are aware of We are investigating what this employee may have said, or what other employees may have said We have video archives of all services performed at our centers that allows us to find any variations in our policies that happen We are reviewing this service this week This problem will be corrected internally with re-training or termination of whomever caused it. We are happy to refund the cost of service, for this customer, or any customer, that is dissatisfied for any reason with or company or the that of any employee *** ***President
