JUST AWEFUL! Quiktech! As a small business owner here locally I am very sensitive to the fact that we all live and work in a community where we need to support each other. I wouldn't begrudge anybody my money or business for a small complaint. However,THIS morning my mom (who is in her 70's) left a local business in TEARS after showing up for her PRE-SCHEDULED appointment to get her car REPAIRED. I will try to make the back story as brief as possible. My mom had an air conditioner compressor repaired at Quiktech in March of 2014. There was a 2 year warranty given on the part/work. She took the car back in last week. They determined that it was the same problem/part. Since the warranty had expired they would not honor it. Quiktech quoted a price for the repair. My mom thought it was a little high considering it was the same problem and she told them she was also going to call the dealer to get a second opinion and price. Ultimately, she didn't call the dealer because she has A LOT on her plate as the almost 24 hour care-taker for a very ill family member. (It is extremely challenging for her to even leave the house) She called earlier this week and made an appointment for Friday morning (today) at Quiktech to moved forward with the repair. She hired a care-taker to come in early, and she showed up for her appointment as scheduled. She was told by an employee that she had "ANGERED" the owner last week (who was not there TODAY) when she had mentioned calling the dealership last week. She was also told that they "REFUSED" to do the repair even though the appointment had been booked earlier in the week. As I stated, BRAVO Quicktech for your superior customer service today. Thank you so much for treating my mom with so much respect.
