In 2016, I had an operation, which went without complication, However, I later learned that the doctor's billing office had not correctly billed my insurance and never made a claim within the required time. They also didn't ask me for assistance in fulfilling the claim. In 2019, for the first time, they sent me a bill for the full amount. Days later, a bill collector, Teco-co Systems, also sent me a bill for the full amount plus about $*** in fees and interest. As a result, my and my wife's credit score has been reduced. I have done nothing wrong and yet we are being punished for the Doctor's billing office errors, and subsequent bill collector actions.

Correction to a credit report The doctor's office needs to pull the bill from the bill collector and cause this derogatory record to be removed from our credit scores. In addition, they need to drop their request for me to pay a bill they apparently failed to bill correctly.
The Dr office addressed my concern. They have closed the account and notified the collector that it was incorrectly filed. I recommend closing this case.
