If the customer felt we did not put new belts on all he had to do was bring the truck into us & we would of replaced themWe never advertised any new belts on the vehicle listingI think the customer has our ad confused maybe with other trucks he was looking at

A vehicles value is simply defined by what a customer is willing to pay for a vehicleThe sale took place over months agoWe cannot change lr alter the original purchase price

We are sorry that you are dissatisfied with our non-refundable deposit policy You contacted us to place your deposit on 12/21/15, at which time you were advised over the phone that it was non-refundable; at that point, we marked the vehicle as 'sale pending', which prevents other interested customers from viewing, test driving, or purchasing the car As a business, this policy serves to protect our financial investment as well as provide our customers with adequate time to secure financing You contacted us on 12/26/indicating that you were no longer interested in vehicle Brandon spoke with you on multiple occasions and most recently, I spoke to you twice; I can assure you that we are not screening or avoiding your calls Regretfully, there is a cost to doing business which includes re-listing cars as well as the loss of other potential sales during that timeframe Our sincerest apologies for the frustration and confusion

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The invoice I received from the business when I brought the vehicle in for repair indicates they purchased a new Serpentine belt and charged me the corresponding labor to put it in the vehicle Another mechanic at a different shop later remarked that the Serpentine belt was cracked I provided both the invoices, the first from Specialty Auto & the second with the mechanic's notes mentioning the cracked belt, to Specialty Auto for their review I don't understand their response to this complaint, it has nothing to do with something being advertised or something being different from an advertismentIt has to do with charges on an invoice I paid to Specialty Auto for parts and labor that don't seem to ever have been purchased or installed Regards, [redacted]

To resolve this complaint, I will offer to fix and repair the Evo at NO cost to the customerIf it is okay with themI have given them a loaner and will only need the vehicle for weeks to complete the job

We disclosed everything accurate on this vehicle at the time of the salePlease see WI buyers guide attachedWe have provided free work to this customer to help him out

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Good Morning Brandon, Perhaps you are mistakenThe sale took place October 11th, which is less than months agoAfter owning the vehicle for one month, I had to get the vehicle towedSubsequently, I have had to put in over $2,in repairs to the vehicle. You are correct, we received some financial assistance from your business but the financial assistance provided reflects less than 10% of the total repairs made to my vehicle. Please let know how you wish to proceed with either providing greater assistance with the vehicle's maintenance or providing monetary assistance with the true value of the car
Regards,
Brittany ***

Thank you for your concernsWe have done our best in this matter to assist youI appreciate you letting the Revdex.com and us know about this situation and we will do our best to prevent it from happening againThank you

We have already reached a verbal financial settlement via the phone regarding all of these issues the customer states in their dispute. The verbal agreement of the price was accepted and they have cashed our check.
